Super curious if anyone is seeing a difference in views for TikToks when they add a location tag?Last week I was uploading for a brand and a popup told me, “Get more views by adding a location to this video”.I was curious if this was true and if anyone is trying this out to bring in more views from a specific region. I could see this being useful in strategies that need to drive store traffic.

Hey, y’all!  After hours of researching the best practices to reach non-followers on my restaurant client’s IG account, I keep accumulating the same 8-10 “Best Practices” on every website. I thought I would put it out here and see if any of you have cracked the secret that nobody is talking about to reaching non-followers? 

Hi Everyone! I am going a bit nuts with a glitch that is happening on my brand’s Instagram account and I am curious to know if anyone else has experienced this as well. When I am in the “Edit Cover” area of my reel, and I add an image from my camera roll, it appears perfectly on the “Cover” tab. When I navigate to the “Profile Grid” tab, however, the image is zoomed in and I am not able to get the full image to display no matter how much I pinch and drag it around. It has happened to every reel since the end of December when I did purposely zoom an image in for a cover of a reel and the app decided that all future reels and cover images will match this one-time-only art direction. (If I go back to the reel in question where I zoomed the cover image in on purpose, I am not able to zoom the image out as it is also stuck on the zoomed (doomed) state). I would be so grateful if anyone has experienced the same issue and can offer some tips for correcting it! 

I’ve noticed a number of leading accounts in my sector (UK - charity) stopping using hashtags on their Instagram posts in recent months. Is this a change other people are seeing too? Are we seeing the role of hashtags changing? 

How will you overcome LinkedIn sunsetting their carousel post feature effective 12/14/23?I'm so frustrated with this change...I've never seen a content style that receives a CTR as high as carousels. There’s no built in mechanism for A-B testing on Instagram so I’d love to hear how others have approached testing on this platform. For my use case, I’m interested in figuring out how to identify the hashtags that connect us with the right audiences and create new followers. We’ve been trying with different hashtags but are finding it difficult it differentiate between when a post was simply great vs. when the right hashtags were utilized.

Ran into a super weird problem and wondering if it’s happened to anyone else.Currently running a Facebook ad for a client. I went to check in this morning to see how it’s performing and noticed that it’s completely missing from the Campaign tab. After momentarily freaking out, I check the Ad Sets tab and my audience is still there - I check the Ads tab and both of my ad creatives are still there as well. Additionally, I filtered ad performance to yesterday and today and the ad is still active and delivering. When I inspect the ad, I can still see the campaign level, and then my ad sets/ads beneath it.It seems like somehow only the campaign portion of the ad completely disappeared from the campaign tab. Has this happened to anyone else? I’ve reached out to Facebook support but to the surprise of literally nobody they gave me information that wasn’t relevant or what I was asking at all and then acted like they solved the issue and ended the chat.To potentially pai

My nonprofit has been experimenting with ways to use popular music on Instagram reels. One thing we’ve tried is downloading the song from TikTok and then uploading to IG. Does anyone else have good ideas for how to go about this? I’ve seen some pretty major accounts using popular music and can’t imagine they’re not using a business account (for example, the City of Detroit) because they definitely run ads. Wondering if there is a better way, or a training anyone is aware of for reels? Just to note: These are not ads or things where we’re trying to get donations or action, just engagement. Not trying to circumvent copyright law for business gain!

Hi everyone, please could you assist. Does anyone still encourage Facebook Lives for their clients? If so, how successful is it? I only have experience with Instagram Lives. 

Hi everyone!  I’m social media manager at a large tech company (~700 people) and I’ll get social post requests from people in different departments all throughout the company on a consistent basis. So far, I’ve been trying to organize those on a monthly basis with shared Google sheets then adding them to Sprout. I’m wondering if anyone here has been able to find a way to establish a formalized process for gathering these requests/suggestions and fitting them into your social strategy while balancing not always posting everything everyone suggests if it’s not the right fit for your company’s social?  TIA!-Kayla 

Hi all, just wanted to hear the community’s thoughts on using the backdate feature on Facebook. Does anyone use it often, why or why not? Has anyone seen benefit - or even negative impacts - using it?I work with a few clients that like to use it, though it’s sometimes because content was published late or past a specific date. Does anyone know if backdating posts negatively affects post performance or SEO? Thanks in advance!

Hi all!Facebook randomly unpublished our Business page and suspended our ad account over the weekend for “continued Community Standards violations.” The thing is, we have never gotten a notice or review of any violations, and our Page Quality says “Good News, no violations to show.” We are a fintech/insurance broker, so our content is nothing particularly controversial either.It is adversely affecting advertising, as they won’t run ads without the page being republished. I have reached out to support through the Business Center via chat and phone and have been stuck in a “we’ll investigate” status for 3+ days.Has anyone experienced this? Why was your page affected? What did you do to remedy?

I’m sure you’ve noticed influencers and brand accounts alike including something like this in their CTAs on Instagram: “Comment LETS GO! For the link to sign up!”It seems like a genius idea to boost engagement and conversions through a platform known for it’s tricky link-sharing capabilities. Hello & happy holidays! I’ve done some research and haven’t found an answer to this question - is there any reason to delete old sale posts from social networks like FB and IG? The posts are unpinned when the sale ends, and do not dominate our feed. Sometimes we have flash or special sales that do come back-to-back, but if there is an expiration date that’s noted in the image/copy.TIA!Stacy

Hi there! I just got a new laptop (Dell) and it’s having issues with Adobe Premiere Rush - it crashes as soon as try to start a new project and add files. Hey y’all!I’m a social media manager for an IT company who’s currently overseeing around 26 accounts (though thankfully I only manage 4 on a day-to-day). I’ve been asked to takeover an executive leader’s personal LinkedIn account and frankly trying to nail down a process has my brain spinning in circles.TLDR; How do you manage your executive’s personal LinkedIn presence?We're posting 2 times a week, mostly sharing corporate posts or third party articles with 'his' own thoughts. My thought was to add the profile to Sprout, where I can use the approval workflows to schedule content and get the appropriate edits/comments/whatever. Then I realized that I can’t use LinkedIn to repost, only create new, organic content, so I would need to sign into the account and reshare the post directly.So here’s where I’m running circles in my brain:Should I still use the approval workflows via Sprout even though I need to post directly
