Hi everyone! I’m social media manager at a large tech company (~700 people) and I’ll get social post requests from people in different departments all throughout the company on a consistent basis. So far, I’ve been trying to organize those on a monthly basis with shared Google sheets then adding them to Sprout. I’m wondering if anyone here has been able to find a way to establish a formalized process for gathering these requests/suggestions and fitting them into your social strategy while balancing not always posting everything everyone suggests if it’s not the right fit for your company’s social? TIA!-Kayla
Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone has seen a recent dip in performance for any Reels they’ve been publishing.Within the last couple of days, I’ve published two different IG Reels for two different clients:Scheduled and published straight from Sprout. Uses the client’s own sound. Usually their Reels get around 10,000 - 20,000 views and this one doesn’t even have 1,000. Created and published in IG. Uses a popular sound. Usually these Reels get 1,000 - 3,000 views and this one only has 150.I just find it odd that both of these are underperforming, especially after IG working so hard to push Reels. Anyone else seeing anything odd? Thank you in advance!
Hey Sprout Community! My team has several clients connected to our Sprout and we have recently had issues reconnecting the LinkedIn company pages back to Sprout after the connection expires. We heard through the grapevine that this is due to LinkedIn updating their API to requiring a Super Admin privilege to connect to Sprout. Has anyone else had this problem within the last week or so?

Hi! I work for a well established brand in New Zealand that also operates in Australia and South East Asia. Today our Australian page/ad account has been permanently banned for violating advertising policies. We didn’t actually violate any policies, Facebook just changed the status of every ad since the account was launched in 2016 to rejected so we appear to have 1000+ violations. Previously they have incorrectly classed our account as “political” because we are an eco brand that posts about sustainability. This only happens to our Australian account not our NZ account. I have tried a review however of course with every ad ever created being rejected we didn’t pass the review. Has anyone been able to get their ad restrictions lifted after being permanently disabled? Facebook support is unhelpful and our account manager doesn’t ever reply to my emails. Any advice appreciated!

Hello all! One of my customers from City Government is using Instagram Creator Accounts..mainly to have access to the music for reels. He is curious to know if anyone here has switched from a Creator Account to Business acct. If so, were there noticeable differences in engagement/reach? Is it worth the change so you can schedule and publish through Sprout?
Hi everybody! 👋 I was wondering if anyone has any favorite online training courses for social media marketing/management/customer care etc.? I’m writing an article and I want to feature stand-out courses that can help train those who are new to social, and level up the skills of managers, too!Thank you!
We are a non-profit organization serving 1200 clients annually. We have approx 150 staff members. We are well-known and highly regarded in our community, although most people are not aware of the broad scope of what we offer to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. That’s a big focus of our brand storytelling, especially through social media. Before I began as the marketing director for the agency four months ago, one of the programs that falls under the agency umbrella was given permission to start their own Facebook page. It is specific to that singular program, which annually serves about 150-200 clients. That page currently has about 800 followers, and their posts generally lack any strategic focus or meaty content - and it shows in their analytics. The agency page has well over 5k followers, as a point of comparison.I see zero benefit - and possibly even some harm - for our agency brand by having a redundant social profile for this program. People have tagged the
Recently, out of the blue, Facebook permanently banned our main Business Page from running ads. Our ads account is still active and we can run ads from any other page, just not our main page. They stated we went against their advertising policies but told us that they couldn’t tell us what policy we broke and why. We’ve been running ads on Facebook since 2014 and have never run into this issue before. We work closely with their “Meta Experts” who regularly review our campaigns, so you’d assume they would be aware of any policy we may be breaking. We did not have any ads rejected prior to the ban. Has this happened to you? I have connected with 4 other B2B businesses that this has happened to in the last few weeks. None of them were given a reason why nor a notice or warning. Additionally, we have noticed diminishing results in our campaigns over the past 2 years. We expected it, but as we have always relied on 1st party data anyways, we didn’t think the quality of results would chan
Hey everyone! I send weekly reports to department heads over at my company that include the following…News page likesGrowthImpressionsTop performing posts w/ metricsscreenshots of those postsIn that report, I also include our weekly e-mail stats + website metrics from GA.I’m basically assembling this report in another document because I find the reports on Sprout aren’t easy for someone who doesn’t know much about marketing to read and understand.Does anyone have advice on the best template/format to use? Thank you!
I am considering what I can only call “the nuclear option.”An opportunity has arisen, allowing me to pursue an extremely affordable education from a reputable college. A quick synopsis/pretext to my question for you:I can pursue an MBA with a Marketing Analytics concentration. Or… I can pursue a Masters in Data Science. Or… I stick with my current educational methods: YouTube, Skillshop, Meta, Sprout, LinkedIn Learning and CXL. Or... I stop fixating on education (aka “staying in my lane”). Like many of you, I am a one person Social Media and Copywriting department. I currently use almost all of Sprout’s tools along with SpyFu to automate the research side of my job, so I might be more reactive to our fans/followers and plan future campaigns. In may ways, sprout takes the bricks out of the briefcase. My desire for education stems from a strong need to help bridge the informational gap many of us face: marketing’s often vague relationship to revenue, as I don’t have a “buy” button at the
Has anyone had issues with boosted posts not delivering at all? The ad is approved and active, but no engagement or budget spent. This has happened with the last three posts I tried boosting. FB support provided no help - they directed me to an article that was not useful. Below is a screenshot.

Personally, I’m a big fan of repurposing top evergreen content on a weekly/monthly basis depending on the channel (especially when Sprout’s Send Again feature in the Post Performance Report makes it so easy!) but I’m interested to see if this is still a tactic our community members are leveraging. If you aren’t doing it, why/why not? If you are doing it, what’s your cadence for repurposing content? Are you doing it across all channels or specific ones?
Influencer Marketing is a huge focus for brands as they see consumers spending less due to the shakey recession thats on it’s way and ecomm sales revving up. What are some tips you all might have for Influencer mangers and brands as a whole? I will drop some of mine in this weekend but curious to here from more leads! in the space!
I have started scheduling stories for Instagram and sometimes Facebook. I noticed when I post, no documented content stays in the Sprout calendar. I assume any data that results from posting to stories is lost in Sprout? Assuming this is correct, I must now natively collect data from Instagram and Facebook?Just looking for a confirmation. Could be beneficial for Sprout to negotiate some way to track social story data as well. Thanks! -Riana
Hi! We recently had a few of our Google My Business profiles suspended. We haven’t made any changes, so I’m not sure why they got suspended. In order to submit a ticket to Google for any type of help or reconsideration, you must include the profile URL. However, the profile URL is unavailable on suspended accounts. So I’m stuck, unable to get any help on this. Has anyone experienced this before or have any advice? Thanks!
Hi Community! I need some help with Facebook location pages. I have a client who has 17 active location pages and one primary parent page. Currently, we schedule content to the primary page via Sprout and FB automatically shares to all of the location pages. We’re interested in adding all of the location pages to Sprout for additional analytics + review management. I added one as a trial and ran into a snag. All of our location pages have the same parent name and a descriptor. ie, Company Name (Atlanta). When I connected the location page and added it to the Sprout group, both the parent and location pages appear with the same name in both Publishing and Reporting. The descriptors do not appear in Sprout, so there’s no visual way to differentiate them. I’m worried this will cause confusion in scheduling posts to the correct pages and reporting. So, if you manage Sprout groups with multiple location pages, have you had this issue? Any workarounds, tips, advice?
Hi everyone! For those who are actively social monitoring, when a commenter tags another in their comment, do you respond to those comments? I’m fairly new in the monitoring realm of social (previously was working heavily in content creation, not monitoring) so I’d love to hear some insights. Part of me doesn’t want to interject two (or three) commenter’s conversations amongst our post, but I also want to acknowledge their comment. TIA!

Hi everyone, looking to pick someone's brain. I'm in the process of getting a new client in the Biotech industry specifically in Medical Equipment Manufacturing.
