Okay, I hope I don’t sound crazy and this is a good place, but, over the past few weeks, I have noticed a lot of extra spam coming into the social media channels for my company. It’s mostly in two forms. On Facebook: I either get something in Messenger or a wall post from an account posing to be some sort of Meta authority figure claiming the page will be permanently deleted for violating some sort of guidelines and I can request a review by clicking their sketchy link (Obviously I know it is a scam) Here is an example: On X: I get MULTIPLE tags for these spamming crypto bots somehow. They don’t seem to end and come in a lot. They’re also tagged with a bunch of other random accounts, so I’m simply not sure how my company’s account is picked. Here is what those look like: Now obviously, social media has and always will have scammers and spam. I have a decent radar and digital literacy to know where not to click and what to ignore, but it seems like these have gotten worse -- sometime
Our company is undergoing a massive split meaning our 2 primary FB/Meta pages need to be on 2 different business accounts. Is there a way I can transfer/move a FB page to a new business account? I am not finding a lot out there on this! Or getting support help from Meta.
Last Tuesday, one of the accounts I manage was hacked and the email and phone number were changed. I contacted Meta Support Pros and they have been telling me the issue is ‘under investigation’ but nothing more. Stakeholders are now asking me to consider other options.What other options do I have?Has anyone else successfully recovered a hacked account? On our website at Azusa Pacific University, we have several pages with links saying “Follow us on Twitter.” Since Twitter is now officially known as X, we changed the logo from the bird to the X logo, but debated whether we should say “Follow us on X” or “X account” for various department Twitter accounts. What are your thoughts on this? Is it best to still use the word Twitter with the X logo or to use the X logo with the name X next to it? Thank you!

It appears that this is no longer possible to do, and it doesn’t matter if you check the box for (Share Reel to your profile feed) in Sprout - it posts to your feed regardless. Can anyone confirm that this is the case? If so, it’s unfortunate because I just had my first instance of needing to post a reel but not wanting it in my main feed.
For those who have made a Threads account for your brands: Have you noticed that there are friend requests that Threads requires you to confirm even though your account is public? We have a ton that seemed to have come through before we made an account, and now we have to confirm individually 🙃
Hello!My team noticed that the Always Up-To-Date Guide for social post sizes was updated yesterday, and X and Facebook have changed drastically from the norm (at least from the last time we checked). Does anyone know what sparked this change? Is anyone using these sizes yet? The recommended size for a graphic on Facebook and X is now 1080x1350.
Hi Everyone! We use a hiring management system called Clear Company and I guess it requires a LinkedIn profile to set up. We have a LinkedIn profile for our National Office and that is connected to the job site for our jobs. However, HR wants to create a new Clear Company account to list jobs for all of the churches that are part of our denomination for them to list their open positions. This will require us to create a separate LinkedIn profile for church job postings. Is this bad practice or a bad idea? I know it’s illegal to have two LinkedIn profiles for an individual, but don’t know about a company.Thank you!

We have an issue with our Meta Business Suite account being “disabled”.I have been wrestling with this issue for almost 2 weeks.Is there any way to actually talk to a real person at Meta?Long Story short in bullet format:Account has not been actively used in a couple years. We decided to try a couple sample test campaigns in FB & IG. Placed ads on Oct. 17/24 Both campaigns required budgets to be pre-paid, and Meta took this from our card on file. (about $250) Both campaigns were reviewed and approved (email notification & dashboard said “active”) After the weekend, noticed no funds had been used up from our pre-paid budget. Finally noticed in “Ads Manger” that our account is “disabled” because they can’t put a “hold” on our card. They do not indicate how much they want to “hold” on the card. I then noticed on Oct. 22, our credit card was to expire this month (10/24) Updated card info (more than a dozen times) and keep hitting the “try hold again" button with no success. Then w
