A question and a comment -- has anyone else seen this format on Twitter desktop for news articles? So far, I’ve only noticed it with a few New York Times articles. It really emphasizes the image, and I think it looks cool! If anyone knows more about this, or has seen any news about a larger rollout, please let me know. :)

Hi Everyone and Happy Friday,I’m really excited to share that we recently launched Content Creator Central, a new community group for all things content creation. In our article, Social media is all-in on the content creator economy. What does that mean for brands? our team digs in to: Who are content creators? In the simplest of terms, “creator” applies to anyone who builds, produces or creates a good, service or content. Content creators produce everything from long- and short-form videos to newsletters, viral dance moves and sponsored posts on Instagram. These are some of the most popular people on the internet; they’re not only plugged into social trends, they’re setting the social trends.Wherever you are in this content creating journey, this group is a great place for you all to network, collaborate and share pro tips - and have some fun along the way. Make sure you join the Content Creator Central group today and I’ll see you there!
Hi Community! Pew Research Center released a new report titled “Teens, Social Media and Technology 2022.” It might not be immediately evident why we should care about teens' social use. I'd start with the thought exercise of "Just how many brands are on social promoting their products to teens.” Heck, how many of the brands that you represent/work with are engaging with this new generation of social media savant? Some of my favorite stats for you:Pew’s research paints an even more stark contrast in expected YouTube use from that demographic than even our own 2022 Index Data. Nearly half of teens now say they use the Internet ‘almost constantly’ (as demonstrated in this data viz) What sticks out to all of you? Anything that Pew missed in their research? Any tips for how your brand makes decisions based on these demographic data points?

Good morning all -We are an athletic club located in Greenwood Village, Denver, Colorado and are curious as to how other teams are approaching the topic of having a Business Account or Creator Account when it comes to social media, Instagram specifically. As we move in to the space of creating more video driven content such as Reels, the limited song/sound library for a business account seems to minimize our potential reach within the platform. How are other teams pivoting or working around this that are using business accounts? Is it worth the switch just for the reach potential? Any additional information or insight is greatly appreciated!Thank you all!
Happy Tuesday all! I was wondering everyone’s thoughts on the recent news about Instagram rolling out tests for replacing all videos with Reels? Will this impact the video content you want/have scheduled to push out on the platform? Will adjusting your video content from horizontal to vertical present challenges, especially if your content is produced by a media/video department? If the change becomes a permanent fixture of Instagram, how will Sprout adapt to the changes? Will publishing all videos to “Reels” solely become an on-platform operation? It wasn’t stated in any of the articles, but how will videos already on the platform be converted into Reels, or will they simply grandfather in that content?Anyway, I’m appreciative of any and all insights this community has to offer on this topic. It would be an interesting change for sure.
Hi social friends!Curious how your brands capitalize on trends like the “Little Miss” trend when it involves copyright. We’ve seen a lot of brands jump on the trends, but were advised by our legal council against posting due to copyright of the “Little Miss” brand. Would love to know how you all approach trends/memes when there is copyright involved!
