Hi Community! Pew Research Center released a new report titled “Teens, Social Media and Technology 2022.” It might not be immediately evident why we should care about teens' social use. I'd start with the thought exercise of "Just how many brands are on social promoting their products to teens.” Heck, how many of the brands that you represent/work with are engaging with this new generation of social media savant? Some of my favorite stats for you:Pew’s research paints an even more stark contrast in expected YouTube use from that demographic than even our own 2022 Index Data. Nearly half of teens now say they use the Internet ‘almost constantly’ (as demonstrated in this data viz) What sticks out to all of you? Anything that Pew missed in their research? Any tips for how your brand makes decisions based on these demographic data points?

Good morning all -We are an athletic club located in Greenwood Village, Denver, Colorado and are curious as to how other teams are approaching the topic of having a Business Account or Creator Account when it comes to social media, Instagram specifically. As we move in to the space of creating more video driven content such as Reels, the limited song/sound library for a business account seems to minimize our potential reach within the platform. How are other teams pivoting or working around this that are using business accounts? Is it worth the switch just for the reach potential? Any additional information or insight is greatly appreciated!Thank you all!
Happy Tuesday all! I was wondering everyone’s thoughts on the recent news about Instagram rolling out tests for replacing all videos with Reels? Will this impact the video content you want/have scheduled to push out on the platform? Will adjusting your video content from horizontal to vertical present challenges, especially if your content is produced by a media/video department? If the change becomes a permanent fixture of Instagram, how will Sprout adapt to the changes? Will publishing all videos to “Reels” solely become an on-platform operation? It wasn’t stated in any of the articles, but how will videos already on the platform be converted into Reels, or will they simply grandfather in that content?Anyway, I’m appreciative of any and all insights this community has to offer on this topic. It would be an interesting change for sure.
Hi social friends!Curious how your brands capitalize on trends like the “Little Miss” trend when it involves copyright. We’ve seen a lot of brands jump on the trends, but were advised by our legal council against posting due to copyright of the “Little Miss” brand. Would love to know how you all approach trends/memes when there is copyright involved!

While I use Sprout incessantly for many of my day-to-day operations, there are times I go into the guts of Facebook and work in there, as I am sure some of you do. Recently I came across the “Interactions” section of the Meta business suite. I have to say I’m impressed with its ability to conglomerate mentions and comments in a single place, allowing me to (in an admittedly limited fashion) easily and immediately interact with everyone on FB/IG that has interfaced with my brand, which is an otherwise mammoth task. Its not perfect by any means, and certainly not going to replace the Sprout Smart Inbox. No sorting by dates, no method of categorizing, no assigning tasks, etc...but if you’re simply trying to see and interact with all the mentions & comments, then this is seemingly a viable, functional option. Does anyone out there in SproutHub Land have any thoughts/experience with this?

We had major success with my business on Tiktok-hitting 200k views a WEEK. However, now-within the past 4 weeks- it has gone completely flat. We are lucky if we get 1,000 views per video. And we have changed NOTHING! Still using viral hashtags, posting at the right times, following the trends, etc. Has anyone else gone through this? Did the algorithm drastically change? ANY advice or information will help. Thanks!
