I use a Pomodoro “tomato” timer to track my tasks and to set time-oriented goals. When the 25-minute timer goes off, I can take a 5-minute break to refresh or reset my mind. After every four pomodoros (25-minute work sessions) I’ll take a 15-minute break.

The Pomodoro is my go-to on days where I’m struggling to focus! I find that it connects with philosophies I use in any difficult or focused time: I can do this for “x” number of minutes.
Yes! This is a great tip. I recently started doing this because I found myself sitting for hours (with horrible posture) and the reminders to get up and move every so often are helpful. Plus, I find it makes the day seem less daunting and my to-do list much more doable when I break it all up.
