Hi Everyone! Our parent company has acquired multiple brands. I’ve been tasked to look at potential brand consolidation of some brands - some will just be inactive and others will potentially occupy new roles. Has anyone experienced changing the name of the company’s LinkedIn page? If so, what happens to the existing content? Also, does this affect paid media in any way? Are there other things I need to be considering here?
Long time Sprout Social user, first time poster! I recently got access to Sprout Social’s Social Listening platform, which I’ve used two or three years ago, only to find the ONLY Instagram data it ingests is hashtags!?Say it isn’t so… hashtags are barely useful on Instagram anymore! Is this due to API changes at Meta? Feel free to disagree with me here, I’m hoping to be proven wrong, but how can social listening be valuable without this data? I love SS’s toolkit and social listening was my favorite tool to make data-informed decisions. I’d love to hear from other users still using Listening effectively, or if you are similarly disappointed with this update.

I love reviewing all the data that comes with social media. However, I am spending way too much time building my monthly report that I share with management. I’ve been tweaking a powerpoint presentation for the past year that I enter all the data from SproutSocial into. Granted, I get way too into the weeds when it comes to making my reports look fancy (I’m a designer..what do you expect?) but I am curious what others are doing to present all this great data in a “pretty” way.
Today is the last day of Black History month, and we want to continue honoring and celebrating Black excellence in social media and marketing. These celebrations are of course, needed, and essential. That said, what Black creators are asking is for brands to think beyond these moments and collaborate with them year-round.
