Hello social media people,I’ve been tasked with determining whether Whatsapp is something we should implement from higher-ups. Our networking association is focusing on global growth in the future, specifically in Latino America.My question is, are there any associations on here that use Whatsapp? Most of our communication is around initiatives members can get involved with, renewals & conference announcements. How many Topics do you support? How do you scale content creation and stories for advocates to share?  Who are your internal stakeholders and champions?I’m in week #2 of a 30 person beta with Advocacy by Sprout Social and it’s been great so far. I’m just concerned about how to keep the momentum going as a team of one.

Hey everyone, We’ve been running some ads to sign a petition on Meta for a while. We’re set up to run ads that fall under Meta’s ‘special ad category’ and haven’t had any issues with this campaign historically. On some placements, we’re not getting an error: ‘'Placement Not Available: We can't provide a preview because the placement you selected isn't available for ads about social issues, elections or politics.'Has anyone else had this issue and were you able to resolve it? Thanks,Prue

We seem to have lost our account rep in the shuffle, and no one on the invoicing email is replying to my emails. Did you also receive 2 invoices for January? I assume this is before/after US ownership switch. Did you notice that they removed check remittance information on the invoice? How are you handling? Hello! Has anyone figured out a way to remove their personal account from the equation when managing multiple pages, ad accounts, and business portfolios? I tried creating an alternate account using my work email address and was immediately banned.I am a social media manager at a digital marketing agency. My personal Facebook account was suspended on 10/17/2025 for “cybersecurity” reasons. I submitted an appeal and have heard nothing back. I’m not worried that my account will be permanently disabled (okay, maybe I am a little bit), but I’m wondering how I can distance my personal account from the business portfolios that I need to be in.We have multiple business portfolios and my personal account is tied to 100s of client social media pages, so when my personal account is suspended, it has a severe impact and I worry that it will eventually impact client pages.Any advice is extremely welcomed and appreciated. 

Hi everyone! I’m currently trying to transfer ownership of a Facebook page from one business portfolio to another. I was curious if anyone has any experience doing this and what steps you took to do it. I have access to both business portfolios and can remove the page from the one it’s in but am worried I will mess something up 😂

Hi all! At Iowa we use Facebook groups for incoming students, but we’ve noticed fewer students joining them and more gravitating toward unaffiliated “Class of” Instagram pages. Our FB groups have screening questions to keep things secure, but Instagram doesn’t offer that, which creates a whole mix of problems. We’re exploring the idea of creating private Instagram pages to meet students where they already are. I’m curious if anyone here has experience running or managing “Class of” Instagram accounts. Any advice would be helpful!

Hi all! I’ve seen a lot of mixed answers for this question, and I’d love to have some more insight. Does it really matter who initiates a collab post? Our channel works with partners that have both larger and smaller followings than us. We want to make sure that we’re utilizing our collab feature on Instagram in the most efficient way possible. Should the account with the larger following initiate the collab? Or, should it depend on who is the original owner of the content? Thanks in advance! 

Would LOVE to see Sprout introduce an automated DM/comment feature (similar to Manychat). I love the Manychat product but it is such a pain that I can’t sync it to my scheduled content in Sprout. We use to to auto DM new followers and for DMs based off comments, it’s fantastic, but would be even better if we could run it through Sprout!

Hi there! Any help appreciated! I have a client that is a division of a global, well-known brand and our Instagram account has been disabled. Account of events:Updated profile image to new brand standard Monday afternoon Monday evening, I received a notification from Sprout that our IG profile had been disconnected. Went to reconnect in Sprout and was unable to.  Went to the account’s IG profile on my phone and saw that it was suspended. I filled out the form to verify out account information (username, email, password, phone number attached to the account)  Received a notification that our account had been reviewed and that it was now suspended due to violating IG’s community guidelines (photo attached of the reasons they gave me) Instagram did not give me another option to appeal this.  I read countless blogs/articles that night and clicked every link that I thought would be helpful and every form I tried to fill out it said “the username you’re inquiring about does not exist.” and w

Hi there! Do you know what could be done if an Instagram account gets permanently disabled because it doesn’t follow the Community Guidelines, because of unothorised attempts to access the account? Someone tried to hack an account and Instagram disabled it. Wondering if you know a phone number or email address I could use to try and speak to someone to hopefully get it back. Many thanks! 

Does anyone have employee-facing social media accounts?Our internal comms team is seeing a dip in email open rates and asked whether a social media account might be a good way to reach employees.For context, we currently have an employee news site, a weekly email that drives to it, and an “update” email with quick, need-to-know info that goes out 3x a week. Content ranges from open enrollment reminders and policy changes to event dates, pay increases, and employee recognition.Some of the recognition content is shared on our main channels, and HR manages separate accounts targeting job hunters that occasionally feature employees.I have a lot of reservations about employee-facing social accounts, but I’d love to hear what others are doing.Specifically:What industry are you in? What channels are you on? What are some examples of the content that gets shared? Have you tried a Facebook group for employees? Do you think the accounts are effective? Why or why not?

I know it is a small feature, but the ability to create a draft for both IG and FB and then have it publish to stories. Currently, you cannot publish stories to Facebook 

Curious if anyone has seen a new platform emerge as a replacement for X, formerly Twitter, specifically among the science, research and healthcare community. I’m a social media manager for a cancer treatment and research institution and X is a big part of our social strategy. As Bluesky and Mastadon are growing in popularity, I would love to know if any healthcare or research organizations have made the switch and if you are seeing a growing community of users interested in science or medical content. 

Does anyone have any recommendations for ways to easily check for hashtag popularity on LinkedIn? I’ve seen some Chrome extensions but most of them haven’t worked for me. I want to make sure my posts are increasing reach and relevance with the hashtags I’m using. Any advice?

Analytics are set up, but I’m struggling to isolate campaign-specific conversions.Setup: Sprout Social Premium, Shopify integration, Instagram/Facebook campaigns.Steps Tried:Tagged posts for campaigns in Sprout. Linked Shopify analytics; conversion data unclear. Used UTM parameters, but reports seem incomplete.Questions:How do you optimize Sprout Social analytics for e-commerce conversions? I posted content in multiple languages on Facebook so that it shows up in the language people have their account set for, however I can only see the English post in my Sprout reports. I also can’t see all the versions once it has published. Does anyone know how I can see the versions in each language?

I run the pages for Bell Bank on social and one thing I’ve noticed against other financial institutions is that we aren’t verified on Meta or Pinterest.As far as Pinterest goes, I’m pretty unfamiliar with the platform on the business end, so if anybody has insight on how I can verify my business and get our preferred username?I know a few years back Meta had changed up their policies for verification which required payment, but do you think for banks there’s a workaround? let alone, do you think it’s important or matters that a company is verified?
