Very excited to join the Arboretum! 

My name is Giang (pronounced yang) and I am the social media specialist at CLS Health. My love for social media stemmed from the meaningful connections I have made with total strangers through the magic of a post. 

My favorite platform has to be TikTok! I love that the “rules” on TikTok differ from other platforms. It gives the creator a chance to be seen and trend without the traditional restrains of social media.

My most favorite campaign has to be “Getting to know the Doc/Brand Awareness” CLS Health is Houston Largest Physician Owned Healthcare Group. With over 160+ doctors, 33+ locations and  35+ specialities getting to know us can be cumbersome. This campaign has had some notable viral moments with our pinned posts “ENT’s of course trend” at almost 900K views and ”I was made for loving you-audio trend” at almost 900k views. 

My go-to tip would have to be, push the envelope! Most of the time brands are uneasy with doing certain trends because it might not “be professional” or “follow brand voice” or “will not be received well”, my answer to this is, people go on social media to find value or to relate. Using trends to reach the audience while staying true to branding is the way to breakout on social. 

The next big trend I see happening is no longer seeing promotion content but rather story telling. Successful content is content that feels like a friend created it, not a brand. 

I am hoping to broaden my horizon with joining this group, connecting and sharing with like minded people who understand the power of social media :)
