Okay, I’ll give this a rip!

Hello! I’m David. I’m a digital marketing manager who was never supposed to be in charge of social media, but here I am. I needed a better workflow so we recently move here (nice neighborhood, btw!) from another tool and I’m working on coming up to speed.

We have a worldwide business and multiple segments, so we have some redundant (right word? Maybe not) accounts that are focused on that SBU or segment. Right now I’m going through onboarding and trying to figure out how to organize.

But my biggest issue is getting to a workflow that makes it easy to manage all this. I’d like to start using bulk import but having some issues and working with support (they’ve been great) on it.

And while I’m a digital marketing manger -- and have been for over 15 years, I’ve never had a focus on social. Everything else in digital? Yes. Social? Not really. So part of my workflow is better understanding what kind of posts are best for which platform. The next part is how to create those, especially shorts (hint hint, this is a huge opportunity and I’m cluless about how to create a good result). 

So as a result of all thise I don’t really have a good campaign idea to share but hope to fix that soon. Right now I feel like a duck. Calm and cool on the surface. Peddling as fast as I can beneath the water to stay afloat!

Hello all, I am Bobbi Riedemann and work for a non-profit program in Iowa. Along with covering creation of our program printed material and website, I also create social content. We have many different audiences, so it can be a bit overwhelming trying to figure it all out.

Recently we worked on a campaign for Emergency Preparedness and the clicks/responses were pretty darn amazing… LOL!

At this time, Facebook is our biggest audience, but our goal for 2024 is to start working with videos/reels. YIKES! Excited and nervous about this new adventure.

Look forward to learning any tips/tricks that have helped others and applying them to our social marketing plan.

I’m Jordan and I work at a destination marketing organization (DMO) in Michigan as the Content & Communciations Coordinator. I have been in this role a little over a year now full time and have really liked working on TikTok and creating reels for Instagram! 

 

Looking forward to getting tips and tricks from others.
