Easter Day Marketing Ideas?

I’ve seen a fair number of social media-driven giveaways and promos related to Easter, speaking anecdotally. On whichever platforms you and/or your clients are most involved, you have a good chance at engagement. My feeling is the best ideas involve visuals or videos using eggs, tree - springtime, Earth Day, and Easter - using a tool like Gleam as well to encourage engagement with clicks, follows, reposts, and other content creation by users for a chance to win. 

We tend to stay away from religious based holidays. Is your business really going to gain anything from a religious holiday? We skew towards no. Cut your brand out of the noise and let the people share photos of their kids finding eggs.

​@melissa.macgregor that’s logical. There’s plenty of secular approaches that represent Easter in a familiar and useful way for most brands with diverse/broad demographics - springtime, Easter eggs, even Earth Day in some cases.

We’re a data nonprofit, so for holidays we often share trivia comparing data about the holiday to data about our sector. For example, do people donate more in April or spend more on Easter candy? It’s worked really well for any holiday!
