Facebook Impressions - March dip?

Hi, I’m pulling my March reporting and noticed that Facebook impressions are down about 80% for us across verticals. I was curious if anyone else has seen something similar for March. I’d love some additional insights as to why this may be. Our engagement is obviously down some as well, but it’s not nearly as drastic of a drop.

Our March numbers were up significantly due to a reel going a bit viral, so I can’t answer for March specifically, but we had a really similarly drastic decline in January. We also had spent a lot less in Meta ad campaigns in January, so I assumed that was a big factor. Either way it was concerning to see 60-80% decreases across our channels when our spending was not down by more than 50%. Did you have any changes in spending in March, or was it all already organic?

Hi @adrienne.cooley I think you might be right! While the numbers mentioned above are all from organic, we did have a dip in ad spend that could decrease traffic to our page. Thanks for that insight.

March is annually a dip month for us, and in April our stats rise up. If April corrects for you, that should be a good indication.
