Hi fellow Arb members! I had a question about ways to explore a prospective client’s Instagram followers on a deep level (beyond location, gender, age, and active times) if possible. The agency I work for is pitching this client, so we do not have access to their public Instagram profile or have it connected to Sprout or any other tools for deeper insights. Does anyone know of any tools or any best practices for evaluating their followers (I think they’re most interested in looking into the quality of their followers)? Thank you!

Tagger or a similar discovery tool

That’s what we use to since we have to ensure our prospective influencers have an audience that meets out requirements.

@ben.marcus Thank you for your reply! I’ll talk to my Sprout rep further about Tagger’s capabilities, but does Tagger only analyze influencers’ and creators’ followers? Our prospective client is a brand, so we’d want to analyze the brand’s followers (specifically for spam accounts following them).

I’ve seen different tools for analyzing IG followers in my research, but, to use those tools, it looks like the profile must have a large following and/or belong to a recognized influencer or creator (“recognized” as in represented by an agency or influencer platform). I haven’t found something that could analyze a brand’s 25K followers effectively, especially without access to that brand’s profile beyond what is public.

Thank you so much!
