Hi there! 👋🏻 My name is Camryn Reid, I am from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I was born and raised here and after college landed a marketing job at a non-profit Broadway theatre in town. After two years, I wanted to broaden my knowledge in the Marketing world so I recently got a job at POET, a biofuel company in Sioux Falls. With starting at POET, I was able to choose a social media scheduling tool and Sprout Social & the Arboretum were the best option! When I’m not scheduling social media at work, I am a part-time cheer coach for Augustana University. I also have a husband, a step-son, and two black labs, so I stay pretty busy!

Hi! I am Katie Bragaw, I live in Cincinnati, OH. I currently work on my company’s communication tools team and have been working for the past year to bring a new social media vendor on board! I was so excited to get approval to bring on Sprout, and I joined the Arboretum at the suggestion of our Sprout onboarding team! 

Our biggest social media challenge is staying relevant to college students. Our business is in campus dining, and keeping college students engaged online and in person, can be a bit of a challenge! 

Fun fact about me: I wear sunscreen 365 days a year. I am the self-proclaimed sunscreen queen and love to encourage people to wear SPF every day, the sun exists year-round!  

Extremely excited to be a member of this community! 

Hi Katie! This sounds like a great tool to have when working with college students. My biggest piece of advice for staying relevant to college students in social media (as a not-to-far-out-of-college student and coach of college athletes) is to stay on top of trends! My idealistic account to follow for content in the college world is GCU (Grand Canyon University). They have awesome and trendy content to keep kids invested in your message!

My name is Darin Wood, I currently live in Jacksonville, FL but will be moving to Newport News, VA by the end of the year. I am part of the HireMilitary group that just started, excited to be the guinea pigs for this program at Sprout. This work will be completely different than my military occupation but it is a nice change of pace. I feel like the sense of community is lost these days so I’m excited that the Arb platform helps generate these connections with each other.

Hi y’all! My name is Charo, I’m 25 from San Antonio, TX. I currently work in the early childhood care and education field for a company that owns three brands of childcare centers across the USA. I am a one person (organic) social media team trying to run a FB, IG, and LI for the three child brands and the LI for the parent company. 

I was inspired to join The Arb community to learn how to level up my game! I feel like I have a lot to learn, and I want to put in the work to continue growing in my career.

Personally, I love content creation from choosing the right photo or creating a graphic to writing the copy/caption. I wish people gave us more credit into all the hard work that goes into picking the right elements to create a post!

Fun fact about me is that I’m a hater! I hate rollercoaster, avocados, watermelon, dark sodas like Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Coca Cola, etc. 

I’m here truly looking to learn and pick up advice, tips, and tricks from anyone that is offering it! I love learning so being able to connect with people in similar situations and experiences is extremely helpful.

Hi everyone! My name is Tori and I currently reside in the Greater Philadelphia area. After (very) recently graduating from university, I landed a position as the Social Media and Community Engagement Specialist at NOVA (Network of Victim Assistance), a non-profit organization that provides services for victims of sexual assault and other crimes.

I love every opportunity I can get to broaden my knowledge about the ever-changing world of social media, especially now that I work in the non-profit sphere. I find that social media marketing in the non-profit sphere, especially when working around such serious subject matters, can be a difficult… figuring out a balance of getting word of our important services out there while also trying to keep people engaged with interesting content.

Hello everyone, I’m Sylvia and I’m a Social Media Manager for a startup hair care brand in Los Angeles, CA. I joined the Arboretum community because it seems like the perfect place to best utilize Sprout Social and learn the latest on how to make our lives in social media easier. (Yay!)

I have worked in the beauty/wellness space within social media, but with that comes a lot of challenges when you’re a startup competing against major brands who have an established community and loyal followers. 

I’m looking forward to finding out more about creating meaningful content and establishing our brand in the space. (Our major competitor are Olaplex and Moroccanoil). 

When I’m not managing our brand’s social media, I practice my photography skills on my food. I love food photography. (Also learning more about Astrophotography!) 

Definitely open to suggestions and recommendations from others who have experience with startups in the beauty/wellness space!

Hi everyone, I’m Kylie, and I live in central Ohio. I am a social media coordinator for Watkins Wellness. I’ve worked in the past in social media customer care for other companies like Zulily. I have a passion for learning new things and I love my job because it allows me to engage with people all over the world. My team here at Watkins is amazing and I really feel like I’m lucky to work with such awesome people. Outside of work, I’m a mom to a 13-year-old boy, my partner and I have been married for 3 years and we have a home full of fur babies as well because we’re suckers. They’re all rescues and they keep me busy. I work remotely, which I wouldn’t change for the world!

I want to learn more about Sprout since it’s something that is new to my team and for myself. I want to ensure that we are utilizing it in the best ways and getting the most out of it.

Hey there!  I am Dawn Kennedy and I currently live in  Vine Grove KY.  I am on the Social Care team at TAG/Aspen Dental.  I have been with Aspen for almost 8 years.  I have been in my current role about 4 ½ years and recently moved over to the marketing side of Social Media from the Patient Satisfaction side.  I was introduced to this community b my wonderful new collogues as they said this would be a great asset for me moving forward.  I love my job especially my TikTok project.  A smile is so important and to give that back to someone and watch their journey is my favorite thing about what I do!  My area of interest is how to find stories that will work for us and how  to bring a campaign to life.  I have not been on the marketing side of things so lingo and getting a feel for the flow of things is really what I am looking for in this community.  I would like to learn any tips & tricks you have for navigating TikTok.  I will take any knowledge you are willing to give.  Now that I am in Marketing I am  realizing there is a whole world I have been missing and I am so excited to explore it!
