What’s in a Name?
Viennelyn was named after the city of Vienna, and fun fact—she’s been studying German for the past couple years. It’s always a fun surprise when people find out that alongside her social media expertise, she’s building her multilingual skills.
Social-First Strategies & Big Wins
One of Vienna’s proudest achievements is leading a new social-first strategy at Intuit for the accountant audience—something that had never been done before. She also played a major role in rebranding TikTok for Small Business, developing content strategies and creating a cultural content calendar to align with trends.
Before Intuit, she led the organic social media strategy for all BILL brand accounts and even managed social media communications for BILL’s IPO listing day at the NYSE. And if that wasn’t enough, Vienna also runs her own freelance social media agency, helping brands and entrepreneurs strengthen their digital presence.
Go-To Social Accounts for Inspiration
Vienna follows a mix of brands and accounts that keep her inspired:
- Glossier – Real, relatable content that builds an engaged community.
- National Geographic – Stunning visual storytelling with strong user-generated content.
- Kansas City Chiefs – Behind-the-scenes content that keeps fans hooked.
- Duolingo – Bold, trend-savvy social-first marketing that’s equal parts entertaining and educational.
Beyond the Screen
Outside of work, Vienna stays busy with her lifestyle blog, With Love, Vienna Lyn, where she shares her passion for fashion and home decor. She also loves relaxing at San Diego’s beaches with her husband and cat, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and getting lost in fantasy books.
Creativity Fuel: The Power of Storytelling
For Vienna, storytelling is at the heart of everything she does. She thrives on creating genuine connections between brands and their audiences, using data, trends, and user feedback to craft fresh, engaging content. Her key to success? Stay curious, listen to your audience, and always be willing to adapt.
