Platforms penalizing scheduled posts

I have a client who is of the believe that if you create content and post it in Instagram it will get better reach / impressions / engagement.  I know this has been debunked through the years but I cannot find any sold research / where platforms say they don’t do this, etc.  Does anyone have suggestions or resources where I can justify the reason that we schedule content vs. having a manual process?

@jamie.hampton (great last name)have you seen this https://www.instagram.com/mosseri/reel/DAbgNOaAFBW/? If that isn’t enough, why not run a test?

I’ve only heard information that confirms that belief. It’d probably be a good idea for Sprout to jump in here and answer this one to debunk?

It would be great if @sprout would help out.  I’m at a loss at this point but I just don’t see the juice being worth the squeeze so to speak to do every single reel in Instagram itself.
