Hi everyone! I am looking to budget for a conference in 2025 around social media, digital marketing, and employee advocacy to expand my knowledge and connect with others in the industry. I work for a B2B company selling environmental engineering services and have been managing our social media for 5 years. I have been to The Social Shake-Up and the Ragan Social Media conferences in the past. Let me know if you have any suggestions!
Inbound!! It’s expensive, but worth it! I’ve learned more from that conference than I have in all my years getting my degree lol. Go for the keynote speakers, stay for the networking and breakout sessions.
I’ve attend Social Media Marketing World for the last 2 years - It’s a large event and had excellent key note speakers and some insightful breakout sessions as well. The negative side was that it seemed ‘creator focused’ at times.
I used to attend the Midwest Digital Marketing Conference, this is a more localized event, and used to be good, but hasn’t been the same since Covid.
I’d love to hear what everyone's suggestions are!
Tangentially related, but I go to Content Marketing World every year and there are many sessions about social.
