We’ve all had moments in our careers where we have learned from advice we were given. So I’m curious:

What's the best career advice you've ever received? How has it impacted your professional journey?

Thread your responses below!

“It’s not enough to just market kthe brand] externally, you have to market yourself internally.”

Early on in my career, I thought all that mattered was being good at my job and delivering results. Of course, that matters. A lot. But it’s important to make sure your great results also are associated with you! It’s important to be  strategic about positioning yourself as the expert, and as a person to work with that is kind and reliable.

And I also love “hope is not a strategy.” You have to be vocal and advocate for yourself.
