Arboretum IRL in NYC 💚 🏙️🍻

Love it! Got any advice for others looking to host their own Arboretum IRL meetup ​@Flynn? (You know, since not everyone has the added benefit of being in the greatest city in the world….)

• Timing: We did ours at 4:30 - 6:30, but most folks came at 5 or later. (Apparently, when you’re not the CEO, you can’t just leave the office at 4PM.) So I’d probably suggest 5-7 or even 5:30-7:30 for timing in the future!
• Promotion: We did some social media promotion the week of, but we probably could’ve done more. I also would probably reach out directly to local social agencies in the future to invite them. (Or maybe this is something that Sprout Social could do directly? Since they have location information on their customers, and I don’t.)
• Location: ...this is definitely a personal thing, but our location was a quietish, family friendly dive bar (I swear it’s a real thing) and it worked great! I also made sure to grab a table toward the front.
