Hi everyone! I’m Brelynn and I’m the Communications Manager for Book Trust, a national early literacy nonprofit.

I would love to connect with other nonprofit social media/communications professionals. If that’s you, say hello!

Love this! I’m Kate, I’m the senior digital comms manager for Candid. Candid is a nonprofit that helps nonprofits find funding, funders and donors find nonprofits, and gets everyone the info they need to do their work more effectively, efficiently, and equitably.

We also have a lot of cool free resources that nonprofits can use, and I’m happy to point people to what helps!

Hi there! I’m the social media manager for Let’s Win Pancreatic Cancer. We provide easy-to-understand, medically vetted and actionable content focused on the needs of the patient and caregiver.

And as a voracious reader who used to volunteer with the Reading Soulmates program at my son’s elementary school, I love the work you are doing!

Hi @lisa.frame! Wow, what an incredible organization! It’s amazing that you’re providing accessible and trustworthy resources.

And, thank you! I absolutely love working at Book Trust. There’s nothing like seeing the joy on kids’ faces when they receive their books!

@brelynn.hess Book Trust sounds like such a great cause! My kids both have been part of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and it was so cool for them to get free books for the first five years of their lives. It sounds like a similar type of program (though feel free to correct me if I’m super off since I only just briefly reviewed your website).

@kate.meyers emery Imagination Library is a fantastic program and there are definitely similarities. We’re both getting free books to kids and trying to inspire a love of reading!

Book Trust is a school-based program that serves students in Title I elementary schools. Students choose the books themselves and educators are provided resources for facilitating joyful reading experiences.

I would love for Book Trust to collaborate with Dolly Parton in some way. That would be so cool!
