I was happy to post about the Arboretum in LinkedIn today.  For some reason I could not find the Arboretum when I tried to do a tag (@Arboretum did not produce a result), so I added links to the website in my comment.

Happy holidays to everyone at the Arb and Sprout too!

Here is the actual post:

Attention Social Media Managers. If you have not been introduced to the online community called The Arboretum by Sprout Social you should take a look (link in the comments).
This community is filled with great humans that provide ideas, help and support for those of us who work in the social universe. They also recently launched a mentorship program that matches industry veterans with newbies to help nurture their new careers. How great is that!
I appreciate the help and suggestions the group shares when someone poses a question or asks about the latest trends in our rapidly changing industry. I recently got great advice dealing with Meta issues.
Thanks Sprout Social and all the community members that make up the Arboretum.
Happy holidays to you all!

Fellow Social Media pros, here's a great online community you can join to ask questions, share insights, and discuss trends with folks across various industries: The Arboretum by Sprout Social. You don't have to be a Sprout customer to join. I was wary at first, wondering if I'd be pelted with sales messaging, but I've been quite impressed - it's genuinely free of any sales pitches and I've already had questions answered by group members that I wouldn't have had access to otherwise. Plus they have fun activities and discussions around holidays or significant events like the Super Bowl. Come join the discussion! https://lnkd.in/gaNQwpyB

I love the ARb. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/holli-tierno_if-you-are-involved-in-content-marketing-activity-7270853397602304001-uUVo?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

I didn’t know you didn’t have to be a Sprout User to access the Arb until I saw a comment on one of the earlier posts so that’s what I focused my post on. I hope it helps you add a few new folks to the community!

TGIF - great first week! 🙌

Hey Scott - I’m sure you can edit your post to tag after the fact. Here’s where they are: https://www.linkedin.com/company/arboretumcommunity/posts/?feedView=all. It’s “the” Arb, like “the” Ohio State University, for any college sports fans. Speaking of… GO Boise State! Our family is attending tonight’s championship game to see a Heisman hopeful in action, and hopefully see the Broncos’ secure their spot in the playoffs.

Thanks Lisa, got it sorted.  I was trying to tag without spaces (like hashtags).  Once I added the space it popped up.  Sometimes we get too focused on trying to do something a specific way and forget to try the obvious! 🙂

How cool would it be to get some other friends to use this platform all together? Takeover?!

Happy to spread the word about the Arb 🙌  Here’s my post

I hear you with the “sales messaging.” I’m really happy with the community that it feels just like our own social media platform just for social media pros!

What i said: Social media can feel like you need to be an expert at 50 different things simultaneously. This unrealistic expectation contributes to high burnout rates in our industry. That's why I appreciate spaces like The Arboretum by Sprout Social, which is like a digital watercooler to connect, share industry trends, voice frustrations, and continue learning. Check it out!

Happy Friday!
