Hey social pros! How do you dive into paid advertising on Social Media? I prefer to push organic as far as possible first, but the organization I’m working for is large enough to have a paid budget. I’m looking for educational materials on best practices, preferably resources that have come out in the last year or two.

Not to be glib, but YouTube! You can find a ton of great, free info and really dig down into very granular questions. Think about what paid ads can do for you that your organic content can’t and then focus your YouTube searches on those types of campaigns/activities. The best way to learn is by doing, so jump in and then, when you run into issues or questions, take those to YT to get guidance and then put what you’ve learned into action.
