Hi! I’m Molly and I’m the senior specialist of digital content at Unlikely Collaborators and I’m based in Los Angeles. I stepped into this role about a month ago. I personally love working on content for TikTok. I think it’s much more tricky to create authentic feeling content on that app so it feels like a puzzle and pushes me to be more creative. Plus I’m a gen z so I’m a little biased 😉 Excited to connect with others and learn for y’all!

Welcome @molly.carpenter omg, I hear you on the creative challenge! Do you edit in app or use third party apps?

Welcome everyone! I’m excited to connect with y’all.

@molly.carpenter, welcome! I’m also curious the answer to @Jonathan Zuluaga’s question, how do you edit?

@Laura Porcincula @Jonathan Zuluaga Hello! I actually edit outside of the app using Premiere Pro! Since TikTok doesn’t allow for external photos as covers we had to do some workshopping on whether or not we would post within the TikTok app and create the cover photo there. Eventually we decided we would adjust our video style so that the first fame would work nicely as a cover photo which would also allow up to publish within Sprout and make the process more seamless! Hopefully TikTok gets up to date with Instagram and adds in the external cover photo but until then we’ll stick with our current workflow :)

Hello everyone, My name is Clyanna (Klee-anne-uh) and I am the digital managing organizer with Black feminist future. Social media has always been an interest of mine- using psychology, research, and math to predict human behavior and consumer needs. My fave social media platform would be LinkedIn- it’s still new to me but there’s a lot of excellent resources, conversations, and connections to be made!

I’m still new to social media so I don't have a social media campaign yet, but I’m working on something I hope will greatly impact the communities we serve and hope it inspires. My go to tip for making engaging social media is to profile hop. Go to one of your most popular social media competitors, go to a popular post and check out the folks who liked them, looking for narratives and common themes.

I think the next trend in social media will be divestment from facebook and twitter and more niche community digital spaces.

Though I know a lot about social media and digital marketing I still don't know what I don't know and look forward to meeting new people in this role, learning how to best utilize my skills to help launch Black Feminist Future into the stratosphere.

Hi, I'm Kerriann, the new Social Media Director at Windermere Mill Creek. In my personal time, I enjoy using TikTok for quick art promotion videos, but professionally, I have seen the most content interaction on our office Instagram account.

The most memorable campaign I led was for our “Second Annual Cruise-In Car Show Charity Event.” I was a content creator at the time, and it was the first event I was given full control over. The previous car show only had 13 participants and we donated $200 to charity as a result. By implementing a consistent social media posting strategy alongside traditional methods (flyers, postcards, email campaigns) we saw an increase from 13 to 74 registered participants and had a much larger crowd of spectators- resulting in $3280 donated to charity.

Now, in my first month as Social Media Director, I'm keen to revitalize our social media presence. Seeking advice on growing a stagnant following. Excited for the positive changes underway!

Hi 👋 my name is Frankie ☺️ I’m a Social Media Manager at University of Kentucky. My favorite platform is TikTok because of the authenticity it’s brought to social media!

I’m looking forward to learning from everyone and growing our school’s accounts ↗️
