We’re back again to kick off the second week of our June celebration leading up to World Social Media Day on June 30th. We hope that you're enjoying our weekly series dedicated to uplifting the incredible people behind the handles!

For week 2, let’s talk about how working in social requires immense emotional bandwidth. To maintain sustainable creativity, we have to know how to protect our energy and truly unplug.

Let’s say that you’ve been given a surprise day off: What are you doing first?

Drop your thoughts below and let us know how you like to celebrate during your much deserved time off!

On June 16th and 17th (depending on your time zone) we’ll be hosting a Meditation Session right here in The Arboretum for you to unwind and relax. Hope to see you there

Also, make sure that you save your spot for our June 30 webinar on building a long-term, fulfilling career in this space featuring Zaria Parvez

    Excited for June 30th! 😄

I’m a big foodie and I live in LA- it feels like every other week there is a new coffee shop, restaurant or bakery opening up and I make sure to add them to try my list, a day off is perfect for supporting a new local business. ☕
If I’m not doing that, then I love getting a little treat like a facial. 🫧

Yeah, Baraica’s answer is hard to top. There was a local podcast about the top 5 coffee shops in Boise and shockingly, I hadn’t been to any, so me and a girlfriend tried them all, one monthly coffee date at a time. It is fun to discover more about your city and support local businesses!

When I have extra time, instead of walking my dog in my same ol’ neighborhood, I like to put her in the car and find a new spot to stroll around in… usually a park or along the river. even a small change of scenery feels refreshing!
