Hello everybody!

I’m Alyssa and I create and manage the social media for Pancheros Mexican Grill. We’re a small team so we wear many hats - so I also help out with influencer and NIL college athlete sponsorships, merchandise, donations, and other marketing tasks here and there! I’m looking to network and learn more about video content and just in general social media advice! I’m a gen-z so I’m looking to learn and absorb anything and everything :).

Hi everyone! First off, love the idea of this community so much. My name is Giuliana Clanin and I am the Associate Director of Social Media at Life Time. I’m originally from Texas and moved to Minnesota in 2016 for my first shot at joining the social media industry as a community manager at the corporate offices. Over the last 6+ years, I have held all the roles on the team from content manger to influencer manager to now associate director. I love social media and I am fascinated mostly by social media strategy and how it’s continuously evolving giving us new puzzles to solve almost daily. Looking forward to learning from this group, contributing whatever wisdom I can share, and just growing my skills.

Hello everyone! My name is Maggie Durling and I am the social media specialist for Wood Rodgers Inc., which is a civil engineering company in California and Nevada. I only graduated from university in December and started this job in February! Before that I had done a pretty intense internship at a PR agency, which is where I fell in love with social media. I am the only one in the company who does social media marketing specifically, which can make it hard to bounce ideas off of my coworkers. But, I love learning and experimenting! I am here to continue on my learning and understanding of social media marketing. 

Hey!  I’m Dan.  I’ve almost mastered being a jack of all trades.  :P 

Day job, I’m an architect at Oracle, by night, I wear a lot of hats for a couple very small companies. 

Creatively I create 2d picture content, video, and some copy writing.  Manage social’s for one client, and soon my own stuff.  Edit videos for a few clients too. 

Looking to learn anything and everything.  I’d love to grow my skill set to comfortably be able to advertise my skills as a social’s manager/marketer and move over to this industry and away from my day job.  :)

Welcome @dan.windler this is a solid place to start and I’m sure you’ll connect with a few folks in the same boat as you! How soon are you looking to make the jump?

@Jonathan Zuluaga  I’d love to make the jump in 2 weeks if at all possible.  :P    That said, I don’t have a realistic timeline at present.  I’ll go ahead and set a for the next 18 months, but I’m starting at effectively zero, so making that first dollar is going to go a long ways towards belief/validation.
