Hey, new potential friends! My name is Amir, and I am the Social Media and Marketing Specialist for a small coffee company called Peace Coffee, which is based in Minneapolis. I’m in social media kinda on accident—my only professional goal in life is to be creative at work, so that’s why I’m here. I’m super receptive to marketing (almost 2 years full-time in my current role 🥳) and don’t have any formal training, so it’s been a trip, but I’m loving it.

My fave platform is a tie between Reddit and YouTube. Though I don’t use either for my work, at least one Reddit and/or YouTube tab has been open on all of my devices since middle school 😂

As for a campaign I’ve worked on or admired, I think I have to say I am always looking to see what brands do during Pride Month. While I’m not a part of the LGBTQ community, the brand I work for is LGBT owned, so I’m always looking to see how brands message around that month and how it has changed over the years.

Lastly, this might be cheating, but the social media thing I’m keeping my eye on, like I’m sure everyone here is, is anything TikTok ban related. Of course not a trend or tip per-se, but it is something totally gripping me, haha. Very curious how it shakes out in the coming weeks/months.

Oh, also idk if this is allowed, but plz add me on liinkedin, I looooove making new friends and I can send coffee to bribe you to be my bestie 🫶🏽

Best of luck to you all 😏

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Tess, a digital storyteller and strategist passionate about helping brands and individuals scale their purpose online. I just started my own agency last July, and through that, have been working with Veloz and Electric For All in the Electric Vehicle space! Feel free to add me on LinkedIn

I was chronically online in high school when Facebook was basically the only platform, and I built my young adult identity around content creators I admired. Having access to inspiring people I wouldn’t have encountered otherwise has kept me glued to the space ever since.

My favorite platform? Instagram! I appreciate how it combines almost all aspects of digital storytelling, from stories and highlights to feed posts, creating opportunities to build community and engage in ways that feel authentic to you. Whether it’s connecting with close friends or sharing with a broader audience, it’s a comprehensive yet personal space that lets you craft your experience on your terms.

Two campaigns I’ve admired recently: Patagonia’s "Don’t Buy This Jacket"—a bold and brilliant way to spark conversations about conscious consumerism—and BMW’s cheeky farewell ad for the retiring Mercedes CEO. I loved how BMW showed respect for a stellar competitor while still leaning into their signature confidence and wit. It’s a masterclass in blending humility with playful arrogance.

💡 Bonus tip? Transparency is the ultimate trust authenticator. No one believes you’re perfect—so if you’re striving for that, you’re not striving to be believed. If you have an opportunity to show your human side, take it. As for AI? Use it. Embrace it as your buddy in ideation and as a tool to constantly uplevel your thoughts and deliverables. It won’t do the work for you, but it will empower you to do the work of many.

Can’t wait to get to know all of you and learn from your stories! 🌟

Hey hi hello! Longtime Sprout Social user, first time being the admin of our company’s Sprout Social so very excited to keep learning new things from all the cool folks here! 🤓

  • My name is Nico, my role is the Founding Community Marketer at Scribe; this includes our organic social presence as well!
  • My favorite platform is TikTok for the simple fact that the algorithm is so dialed into exactly what I want to see; the downside to this is I feel like often I’m not totally in-tune with what is “generally” popular and it’s interesting to see this trend in social. Will things continue to niche down so much, or will we see a resurgence of a platform dedicated to how Twitter used to be? The town square? Very interested to see how the pendulum swings!
  • A campaign I loved recently are the new Halo ads and how they’re bringing back that zany style of commercial that I always have a soft spot for

💡 Bonus Points: The top trend I’m keeping an eye on is figuring out how to niche down using satellite accounts to tap into our wide audience while still maintaining a broad presence on our main account!

Hi y’all! My name is Alex Ratcliff and I am the ✨FIRST EVER✨ Marketing & Communication Administrator for a Las Vegas non-profit health system called UNLV Health. I started professionally in social media over 8 years ago, but my love for communication started many years before that.

My favorite platform professionally is Instagram—simply because it is a workhorse. It has short-form video content, photos, shopping and now Threads really makes it an all-in-one platform. Now, TikTok is my favorite platform personally. Two words -   “B R A I N R O T.” IF the companies I have worked for in the past implemented TikTok, I am sure it would also be my professional favorite.

Hmm, there was a campaign I worked on at the end of my time at my very first job. It was a 2020/2021 project that related to COVID and protections for Texas First Responders. Since COVID was so new, and the territory was unknown, there wasn’t a set campaign timeline. BUT there was a video I created at the end of a BIG legislative battle that the union (where I worked) ended up winning. This video was a testimonial vignette that encompassed the whole year of testimony, bills and struggle to get to the outcome.

💡 Bonus Points: My favorite trend right before the holidays was the “Suspect” trend—Where people would be pretending to run from the cops and then the person reading the description out loud would just roast the suspect.
