Hey there! I'm Helena 🙋‍♀️ coming from the Czech Republic but now living my best life in Austria 🇦🇹 Why the move, you ask? Well, it's all about those stunning mountains and gorgeous turquoise lakes 🏔️💧

I dipped my toes into social media by managing profiles for small businesses, just like many of you. Now, I'm the proud to run social media for @tractive GPS trackers for dogs and cats 🐾.

Favorite Social Media Platform: My absolute favourite social media platform? Instagram, hands down! (Yes, I'm a millennial, guilty as charged 😁✨). I love creating content, building communities and collaborating with influencers to create great campaigns which can be not only video content but also static or stories but all organically which is on Instagram still possible and I'm happy for it.

Best Social Media Campaign: Do I have a favorite social media campaign? Not really! But I do have a blast with viral organic campaigns mainly for new product or feature launches. They're usually so boring, but I get to spice things up on social. Recently we had a great success with millions of views with our Live Tracking feature where we used POV of pet parents and it worked like crazy → 21M organic views  or 19M organic views

Top Social Media Tip: My top tip? Try to think as you customer and why they should engage with your content. If they ask a question, respond in the comments or even better, respond with video reply or create a post about it! And, of course, consistency is key 🔑.

Future Trends: Here in Europe, especially in Austria, we're eagerly waiting for those shopping features that are already available in other countries 🛒. Fingers crossed they roll out here soon!

  • Introduce Yourself: I am Amy, I am the Social Media Adviser for the Australian Sports Commission, is the Australian Government agency responsible for supporting and investing in sport at all levels. 
  • Favorite Social Media Platform: Instagram, specifically stories. It is the place that people will be the most genuine I feel. 
  • Best Social Media Campaign: 30 from 30. During the first month of COVID, coordinated a social media campaign where athletes all over the world, one athlete per day in April, provided a video for our channels that showed their experiences in COVID. The personal connection with our general members and fans, and the general public was amazing. 
  • Top Social Media Tip: Don’t overthink it. 
  • Future Trends: Consolidation of content production. Brands will focus on using less channels as a result of creating more targeted content formats.
  • Learning opportunity: We all use the same platforms and create the same content formats, yet our experiences are completely different. Can’t wait to hear and learn from everyone’s stories.

Hi everyone! My name is Emily Murray. I’ve worked in social media for a few years now but am currently the Social Media Coordinator for Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate The Masiello Group. In college, I was extremely interested in Marketing and the creative aspect of it and eventually found that working in social media was the perfect fit for me. 😊

  • Favorite Social Media Platform: Right now, I’d say LinkedIn is a favorite of mine. I love being able to interact with all of our agents and highlight their successes. 
  • Best Social Media Campaign: I don’t have a favorite at this point in time, but I am currently working with our Chairman on a social media campaign for his new book that will be coming out eventually and I’m excited to see where that goes. 
  • Top Social Media Tip: For me, I try to put myself in the eyes of the user, not only for what kind of content they will enjoy but also what small things I can do within our posts to make my content show up on their feeds. 
  • Future Trends: AI! It’s already here but I think it will continue to grow and evolve and be a bigger presence among social media. 
  • Learning opportunity: I’m really looking forward to connecting with other social media experts here, learning from their experiences, and gathering some great advice.
