What Giveaway Picker Do You Use?

What giveaway picker/tools would you would recommend and why? Is there one that has more options in terms of conditions/parameters?

We are about to run our first engagement focused giveaway on our social media accounts (IG & FB). Any other advice on running a giveaway that you can share from your own experience would be greatly appreciated!

I started out using Wask, converted to SweepWidget, and then went back to Wask. SweepWidget is much more robust as far as entry tracking goes, but I found we got lower engagement overall because they had to go to the link in our bio. However, the sweepwidget giveaway was also the smallest dollar value giveaway we’d run, so that may have factored into the outcome as well. I use wask essentially just as a comment picker. I think there are free versions of comment pickers out there as well. If you’re able to experiment and see what works best, I do recommend giving SweepWidget a shot, but if you’re just looking for sweet & simple, wask or a free comment picker should do the trick!

@echo.cender we’ve used chatgpt to randomly select winners before! It’s super easy and helpful. Or you can create an excel sheet and have it select random numbers.

I’ve used gleam.io in the past. It has some great features and had a lot of success. It’s easy to use, allows you to set up multiple ways to enter contests and makes it easy to track KPI’s. I’d recommend it.

For comment-driven picking, Comment Picker is a great free tool for smaller to mid-sized campaigns on a wide range of social media platforms. Other selection type tools are offered as well (like a wheel of names) through their portal as well.
