How are you growing Facebook followers?

One of our favorite methods for growing followers on Facebook (though warning, it’s very slow), is to invite anyone who likes or comments on a post to like the page. It’s easily done by clicking the likes of any post. The only issue is that it takes a lot of time. We had this strategy pay off really well for the museum I used to work for, especially when posts were shared a lot. 

Other than that, making content that feels super shareable and makes the audience want to share can be helpful. 

When I started in my position, we were doing what ​@kate.meyers emery suggested. It was time consuming. I halted it as I was getting flagged on my personal account. 

When we wanted Facebook growth, we did a slow drip (think $5/day) Follower campaign.
