Kia ora from Aotearoa (New Zealand).

We are a local government organisation in the Northland region and are of the opinion that our type of messaging/content will not cut through the noise or resonate with our communities during the busy summer periods (December - January) and it’s best we keep our distribution low key. My question is - are we wrong?

Our messages are generally shaped around rules and regulations e.g. Check the shipping calendar before heading out on the water, Check it’s safe swim before diving in (water quality), Help protect our environment this summer by XXXX.

Any thoughts are much appreciated.

@jalissa.karena-lange I generally agree with this theory, the reality is most folks are busy, not locked in as much and dependent on your business may not have budget to be making purchases and/or have already purchased for Q1 earlier in Q4.

Thank you for your thoughts @Jonathan Zuluaga

@jalissa.karena-lange I really think it depends upon what your overall goals are. There will also be people on holiday scrolling their feeds in the summer, so I don’t think it is a lost cause depending upon what you’d like to accomplish.
