DM Automation and HIPAA

Does anyone know whether it would be considered a HIPAA violation if a previous patient or a potential patient responds to a social media post by requesting a link via direct message (DM)? For example, if a post says, "DM us for the link," could a patient's public comment or response create any HIPAA compliance concerns?
