To take your behind the scenes a bit, we asked marketers and consumers: “What are the top three platforms that your brand intends to focus on in the next 12 months?”
We juxtaposed the data from both consumers and marketers for that answer option to draw out the natural tension between those groups. Marketers did list Twitter as a platform that they anticipated pursuing within the next 12 months; however, the comparison between those groups (e.g., consumer vs marketer) was not as significant as it was for the other platforms listed.
