Question

IDing Spam Messages Efficiently

It seems spammers are getting more and more creative with their messages on social to avoid identification. I’d love to hear how different organizations are leveraging features in and outside of Sprout to early ID spam messages and remove them when there are no clear consistencies that automation can be used for targeting and eliminating.

Any tools or creative tricks anyone is using?

There are 2 things we do to help deal with the spam. The first being the automatic rules for our case queue routing attempts to filter spam by key words to a “Moderation” queue. When that does not work, we have a macro that the team members use to apply a tag an automatically close the case so those instances where it is not caught are quick and easy.
