Reels performance VS Instagram Video Performance accuracy

Hello y’all!

I’m trying to measure the performance of our Instagram reels.

Initially, we were measuring video views, but that also includes stories and posts with videos.

So, I created a tag to group all our reels.

Is this the best way to do this?

    That’s how I would do it! We’re doing something similar to track any content that is made based on our blog articles vs other content, and it’s exciting to see the difference. 

    Is there anything in the data that is making you question if its the right strategy?

    This is how I do it as well. On my wish list would be a separate Sprout metric that would be only for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, since those are treated differently than videos and stories on the socials.
