Has anyone else experienced that in Meta Business Suite reach is now views for organic insights? It totally killed our engagement rate! Is there a way to get it back? Reach used to pop up where views is for me.

Hi @emma.peneguy,

Yes, Meta recently updated organic post insights in Business Suite — “Reach” has effectively been replaced with “Views” for organic performance metrics. This change can make engagement rates look lower since views often count differently from reach (reach = unique users, views = total impressions).

Unfortunately, there’s currently no way to switch it back to the old view within Business Suite. However, you can still access reach data by exporting post insights through Meta Insights (Creator Studio or Business Manager’s reporting tools) — the export still includes both reach and impressions fields.

It’s definitely confusing, but you’re not alone — Meta seems to be consolidating metrics across ad and organic reporting.

This is so helpful!! Interesting too that it comes on the tail end of a lawsuit against Meta for their estimated reach metric being inaccurate. 🧐 Thank you!
