One of our businesses was recently acquired and I’m not sure what to do with the Facebook page since we do not own the name, customers or products anymore. The page has less than 100 followers, but the content/graphics have our logo and links to our website, contact info, etc. First thought was to just close the page down, but please comment if there is a better strategy. 

@corrine.dorrian I’d make sure the company that made the acquisition doesn’t want it. With a small following you’re likely ok but just to be safe. 


I agree with Nycole! Check with the company that acquired the line of business, if they do not want it, shut it down.

 

You can also download the information before shutting down so you have a copy.
