Sharing to stories

My client is having a problem resharing from other accounts to their Stories. Is anyone else having issues. I’m assuming it’s an IG glitch but unsure.

The only time I’ve been able to do that is if I’m tagged in the original story.

I was able to share their feed post to my story. Was that what your client was trying to do too? I hope I’m understanding you correctly.

Ah! They were trying to share another accounts story to their stories. They said they have done this many times in the past and for some reason, now they can’t. This is why I was thinking it was just a glitch but wanted to see if anyone else was having issues or knew more about what is/isn’t allowed from a sharing perspective. Thanks!
