This is the workspace of somebody who became a grandma unexpectedly last week (baby was 6 weeks early!). Therefore, food/scrunchies/some weird bell thing cover my desk today as I try to catch up on my work
Congratulations @Emm at Brew!
How has becoming a grandmother changed your perspective on work?
It hasn’t. Becoming a mother did, though, as I was very young. It’s an interesting question - would becoming a grandfather change your perspective on work? (please correct me on pronouns if required).
a new baby in the family! Congrats. I’m a working mom and my desk is covered with reminders that I have kids. Never apologize for a mess. It’s real life in real time.
This thread has forced me to clean up my workspace today, and honestly it’s just what I needed. I love my home office space because my husband designed it and built it for me last year! Realizing post-pandemic, I needed a better space to work since I am 80% remote these days, he designed the plans and built it from scratch with my exact ideas in mind.
He painted it this beautiful (and calming) light green that I love and the wooden counter desk area is my favorite part to pull it all together. The left side is mine and the right side is now full of my kids art supplies and games. On sick days, my son will sit next to me while I work and coloring in his coloring books. I think that’s my favorite part that it is a space our family will grow into where the kids will eventually have a space to do their homework.
Side note: Yes Sprout is always open on my desktop regularly and I do use my Arboretum lip balm every day. My kiddos hand painted ‘Mom’ box and their photos on my desk bring me joy and motivation.
I love it! Looks super peaceful and inviting. I wish I had a candle here, I feel that adds so much to the creativity. Thanks for sharing!
This is my at home work space. I just moved (hence the unhanged shelves sitting on my desk) so I will definitely be using this thread for inspo! One of my favorite items is my wax warmer that I set on a timer for the day. It smells soooo good!!
Redid my home office earlier this year and I’m obsessed with the vibe. It’s my own hideaway upstairs in the house and is my favorite. The dog under the monitor (you can barely see her paws and nose) also provides great inspiration
yes to stickers on laptops! Love the vibes yours are giving off
This is a zoomed in view of my workstation (due to corporate privacy rules).
I have a small cubical area with an L-shaped desk that has overhead cabinets on one side and some file drawers. It’s cozy.
My computer monitors and keyboard are on a portable “stand-up desk” that allows me to stand when I feel the need to stretch and see more outside.
I usually have a picture of my wife under the right hand monitor and that helps me get through each day with a smile. To my right, I can glance through a couple windows (through my cubical wall and the bosses office and see the view outside, which I periodically need to remind me I work and play in such a beautiful region of Canada.
We are on the top floor or a 6-story building overlooking the main arterially highway, but across the street are some lush green fields and trees adjacent to our community recreation centre, so we can watch cricket, soccer and other sports being played. We have mountains and a lake to view as well.
It’s always interesting to see others work stations. thanks for the opportunity to share!

This work space is amazing. When can I start renting a desk?
Here’s my office - tucked into the corner of our Guest Bedroom in my house, this is where all of the ‘Social Media’ magic happens.
For me, being able to have my office upstairs in my house is great - it means that I don’t walk by my work laptop/set-up on the weekend and it also means that when I’m in the zone, cranking on some new ideas for Social, editing video, etc. I can just shut the door and truly lean in to grinding out the work when I need to.
PS: Please ignore any miscellaneous wedding things - lol we are also planning our wedding and much of our decor/signage/etc. was created by me and is in various phases of completion in my office.
Here’s my work from home setup, featuring my top 3 essentials for a productive day and good vibes:
LoFi hip hop - I always feel more relaxed and creative when this is on.
At least 2 beverages at all times haha. (One of which is usually caffeinated!)
Dogs for moral support. Also a good foot warmer this time of year haha.
Hope everyone has a great day!
I will definitely be using the LoFi music idea!! That’s so smart!! (Also love your dog! So adorable!!)
Welcome to my cozy workspace! Like many of you, I have a ‘corner of a room’ setup, on a camping folding table. Created during COVID! My setup includes a dual monitors with a Napa vineyard theme background… reminds me of when I lived in NorCal. Surrounding my workspace is a collection of gifts from my children… lego creations, origami couches in every color, fidgets, and artwork from school. I love that glittery hashtag wall piece that was a decoration at a friend’s milestone bday party... she was just going to throw it away and I knew I could give it a second life :)
I have two coasters as I often have a water and another beverage going on… coffee, tea, blackberry smoothie today! Small heater on the floor as my feet are always frozen, and a pillow for my lower back. I’m tall and have had a lifetime of back aches; the pillow makes it all better!
I also have a post-it on the wall between monitor and laptop and it lists my 5 strengths, based on a StrengthsFinder survey. I find that visual keeps me grounded as I go about my workday and like keeping it so handy.
I decorate my desk every holiday because I’m a Taurus and we love making every place feel like home. When I feel at home I feel more creative! This year the theme was Barbie pink.
This is so cute!! Love the Barbie themed tree 🩷
While cluttered, my workspace is highly functional and helps me do my day to day social media work while also letting those creative juices flow and ignoring cleaning up for a while!
I also have plants! Snake Gyllenhaal and Marilyn Mongrow! Do yours have names?
The (faux) Christmas tree on the left doesn’t, but the succulent does! He is Monster Cat ;)
Hi everyone! :)
I work from home so my office space is super cozy and girly. This is my creative space, I do all my work and home projects/crafts in here!
My home office! Natural light, a second screen, and a standing desk are all must-haves for me. And plants, of course!
This is one of my favorite in the group. Love the natural light and the plants, it all looks so clean and simple!

I love your keyboard!

Love those glasses!
I love the chill vibes in this room. Hard to get stressed from a busy day with a setup like that, I’m sure. Love the R2D2 on the desk too Merry Christmas!
Why stop at two screens?
It’s maybe a little more messy than usual (went from “open concept” to having an actual cube again) but this gives you the idea. The wireless keyboard that easily connects between the laptop, tablet and phone is the thing I didn’t know I needed until I had it.
Don’t judge my cable management my setup is special because it’s my “control center” everything I need in one place! and I love my anime theme

2+ screens are the way to go, Haven't looked back since
I am very fortunate to have a beautiful office on the top floor of our Greenville, SC headquarters with awesome views of our downtown and the mountains. I love that I have 3 different white board areas on my desk that I can use to brainstorm, make lists, and sketch out ideas. My desk also goes up and down so I can stand at it (I do not use that enough, tbh). I’m a huge Harry Potter fan so one of my favorite decor pieces in my office is the print of Hermione in front of Hogwarts that I have on the far right side of my desk. I got it last year in Edinburgh, Scotland on the street the inspired Diagon Alley (Victoria Street)!
