While I do have a office set up in my home my perferred workpace is in the living room with my comfy couch. Being comfortable is my motviation to stay focused. Bonus for the holiday seaon is the Christmas tree view.

Can we talk about the disco ball set up!

I work fully remote, so I enjoy the ability to make my mid-day espressos (today, it’s in my cute mushroom mug!) And I have my nature photo to one side that reminds me to step away and outside when I can. I do need a second screen though, so the Amazon gift card would come in handy! ;-)

My work space! Must have the emotional support plants (pictured behind the wall is “Sully” the monsterra). Not pictured is Snake Gyllenhaal (behind my screens because he’s sensitive and hanging behind my chair is Marilyn Mongrow). I love natural light, but in the mornings it’s too harsh, hence the blinds. Two screens are a must! Plus all the water and pens and highlighters! Thanks to Sprout, I have less post it notes on my desk today!

The plants are awesome. Natural light and plants make things homey!

I need this desk set up! Only missing the 4th screen - cell phone!

I love my office! The view of the California trees and landscape is really nice and I have plenty of space to stay organized. Natural light is so important :)

What an uplifting view! :)

This looks very cozy! :)

My workspace is a small corner of my bedroom. It may not be beautiful or esthetically pleasing but it’s real. I had to say goodbye to my office space once my 3 under 3 came along :) but it's packed with everything I need to be productive and creative. The standing desk lets me switch up my posture throughout the day, keeping me energized and focused. The walking pad helps me stay fit and clear my head when I need a break (or even during meetings). And of course, the photos of my kids bring me joy and motivation every day. What truly makes this space special is the way it allows me to seamlessly transition between work, exercise, and family time. It's a reminder that even in a small space, you can create a functional and inspiring environment.

So smart to make it accessible like that. That painting is amazing- did you create it?

While I always enjoy having a handful of my favorite TV and movie characters around (list below), it’s the tiles breaking up an otherwise boring wall that keeps my energy up during the day!

Funko collection: Billy Madison, Wesley from Princess Bride, Michael from The Good Place, Sweet Dee from Always Sunny, Alex Trebek, Lumbergh from Office Space. Not pictured: Ted Lasso and Leslie Knope

I love this! So unqiue and great collection. :)

Redid my home office earlier this year and I’m obsessed with the vibe.  It’s my own hideaway upstairs in the house and is my favorite.  The dog under the monitor (you can barely see her paws and nose) also provides great inspiration 🐶

Yay! Another person that has a amazing Christmas tree view :)

My workspace is modest and motivating! From the custom goose portrait 🪿 and family photo to the collection of “work” themed artwork (shoutout Goose Springsteen), this dedicated space is a great spot to spend the day.

Best of all, this work-from-home setup is only a few steps from my family.

What makes my office special is the signed movie poster hanging on my wall. It’s the name of a documentary I associate produced while a part-time employee with my association, and now I’m a full-time employee. It’s a reminder of the good work I’ve done that’s led to me having my current role.

My setup is very bare! That’s okay. I get distracted VERY easily. I’m usually out in the field getting b-roll or talking to students. I do everything on my laptop (as you can tell from the mouse pad). There are some more desks and bookcases off-camera. We call these offices fly-ins. I work remotely for 3 days and in the office for 2 days.

#OwalaForever

P.S. Highly suggest Calm Strip Stickers, they keep my fidgety hands busy and focused

Here is my office set-up. I enjoy my hybrid schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Two screens (or 3 if I use my laptop) and the iPad are essential to keep my productivity moving along. I also need at least two beverages on my desk at all times ☕

I’m also on a hybrid schedule! Do you also have multiple screens at home? I declined an extra screen when I started because I didn’t think I would need it and am fine without it.

This is the workspace of somebody who became a grandma unexpectedly last week (baby was 6 weeks early!). Therefore, food/scrunchies/some weird bell thing cover my desk today as I try to catch up on my work 😂

Congratulations @Emm at Brew! 🎉

How has becoming a grandmother changed your perspective on work?

My workspace is made better by my team who work to make it our own. For December we’ve adopted a cozy “fireplace” that gets lots of laughs! I also relate deeply to the need for multiple beverages that others share. You can see just one of my cups in the very back of the photo.😂
