I've having trouble with an FB ads account on Meta, it needs to get reinstated since it has been block. Does anyone have specific advice or a contact to help me with this? Thanks
Is anyone else seeing Meta ads being served in states that are outside of the geo targets you’ve set? We have seen traffic and lead gen campaigns being served up to people in locations that do not relate to the content of the ads, sometimes in states that are very far from the spots we wish to target. Meta has yet to come back with a solution, so we have been forced to suspend our campaigns. Wondering if other are experiencing this as well? Thanks!
What is a good work around on Sprout Social to interact with your news feed on Instagram?

Curious if anyone has seen a new platform emerge as a replacement for X, formerly Twitter, specifically among the science, research and healthcare community. I’m a social media manager for a cancer treatment and research institution and X is a big part of our social strategy. As Bluesky and Mastadon are growing in popularity, I would love to know if any healthcare or research organizations have made the switch and if you are seeing a growing community of users interested in science or medical content.
Has anyone ever worked on removing business Facebook pages for a large company with multiple store/service/business locations and centralizing brand presence on the platform to just the national brand page? I have done this previously in past businesses (though we offered the opportunity to move to a different singular platform with organic growth capability), but I have a colleague who is looking to learn if any other businesses have done this to better support their stance to their teams, and their situation is slightly different. They have about 300 Facebook business accounts that have been dormant for a while, so they are considering working with their teams to sunset those pages. Those 300 accounts are only about 30% of the total number of store/service business accounts, and because they are not considering sunsetting all accounts (only those that have remained inactive for long periods of time), they will inevitably be faced with concerns that they should allow the businesses the
Our agency is working on helping some clients create their own Meta Business Portfolios so we can transfer assets to them and the clients can own their Pages. We understand Facebook’s policy against using secondary “work” profiles to manage these, but it’s hard to believe there isn’t a more efficient way to ensure someone’s personal profile is clearly separated from their work one, whether that’s due to personal boundaries or even just avoiding accidental postings from the wrong profile on a Page.I’ve seen a few recommendations to use Facebook’s “multiple profiles” feature, but I’m not understanding how that specific profile gets added to a Business Portfolio. Because you have to add someone with their email address, which is associated with their main profile. How do we only allow their alternate profile to be the admin? Does anyone have insights on how that works (or doesn’t)?Thanks in advance!
Our team is expanding! As I’m prepping for our candidate interviews, let me ask: What is your favorite question in an interview?
Who are your go-to influencers or favorite content series across industries? Looking for some inspiration—recommendations appreciated! Bonus points for thought leaders!
Kia ora (Hello). We are based in the Northland region of Aotearoa (New Zealand). We have a population of about 194,007.I actually have a few questions please:Given our population size, should we use detailed targeting? Meta recommends only using for populations of more than 2 million 😅 Is there a risk of running multiple ads at the same time, targeted at the Northland region? Is it best for us to try customise our target audiences based on our website traffic?Thank you.
Kia ora from Aotearoa (New Zealand). We are a local government organisation in the Northland region and are of the opinion that our type of messaging/content will not cut through the noise or resonate with our communities during the busy summer periods (December - January) and it’s best we keep our distribution low key. My question is - are we wrong? Our messages are generally shaped around rules and regulations e.g. Check the shipping calendar before heading out on the water, Check it’s safe swim before diving in (water quality), Help protect our environment this summer by XXXX. Any thoughts are much appreciated.
These metrics are a result of auto-posting content across ~560 Facebook Pages, YoY. I understand engagements, impressions, and reactions increased because we included more Facebook Pages in our auto-posting throughout the year, which is why I wanted to pull in the average impressions/post, average reach/post, average engagements/post. I am confused on how average engagement rate per reach would increase despite other averages declining? What might this mean?
With Google (in theory) phasing out third-party cookies on Chrome next year and the impact this may have on Meta’s pixel - is your organisation looking to set up their Conversions API? Or are the costs for setting up server-side tracking prohibitive for you? Have you read any helpful articles on this topic?
We have aquired a company, and wanted to see if we could merge their business Facebook page and Instagram pages with our business Facebook and Instagram pages. Is this possible? I know we can add their pages to our business portfolio, but I wanted to know if we can merge them together (followers, etc.). I thought it was a few years ago, but may have changed. Thank you for any help - I always get the best resources here and I am so helpful!
One of our businesses was recently acquired and I’m not sure what to do with the Facebook page since we do not own the name, customers or products anymore. The page has less than 100 followers, but the content/graphics have our logo and links to our website, contact info, etc. First thought was to just close the page down, but please comment if there is a better strategy.
Hi Everyone! While I am personally savoring EVERY LAST BIT of summer , the conversations I’ve been having over the past few weeks make it clear that 2025 planning and budgeting season is already upon us!Many of my customers are focusing on business intelligence initiatives for the coming year, discussing the evolving role of social data, and aiming to integrate social data with overarching system data within their BI tools in order to correlate and gain insights from broader data sets.As the role and influence of social media data evolves, I'm eager to hear about your experiences and any best practices you can share!I’d love to poll this group and see if this topic of marrying social and system data is top of mind for your 2025 planning conversations:How has the role of social data changed within your health system, and what obstacles have you encountered along the way? How do you currently socialize data? What tools and strategies are you using to aggregate social data?Looking forward
Hey Team - One of my favorite agency customers is looking for recommendations on keeping your teams in the loop on the latest advertising regulations with the FDA, FTC, etc. Are there any online courses or resources you’re subscribed to that make you feel more confident when navigating highly-regulated industries?Compliance recommendations for existing and upcoming regulations from the FTC, FTC, HIPAA, FD&C, HHS, etc. Resources for navigating highly regulated industries like healthcare, alcohol, CBD/marijuana, gambling, tobacco, cryptocurrency, Pharma, Banking.
I work in Higher Ed and when I compare last year’s metrics to this year’s it shows that our Engagement per impressions is up, but our overall engagement is down. This is consistent across all our platforms. Why would this be? Thanks!
Hi everyone! I’ve got second round task-based interview which is quite punchy, so I’m looking for some community help. “demonstrating your strategic approach to growing a younger demographic audience for stocks and shares ISA, pension schemes considering the latest innovations and testing and budget. consider a budget of <£150 for short term wins, and £500-£800k for mid-long term growth opportunities” So, this will be across paid media but could be good to add organic into the mix too. It’s the “capturing the younger demographic” though. I feel like there has to be other avenues other than TikTok. OOH advertising at Unis etc? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! If you want to connect on LinkedIn to have a chat, let me know :)
I’m the social media manager for a community bank that spans across Louisiana and Texas. Currently on our Instagram page, we put the majority of our pictures in branded frames. It’s just a kneejerk reaction from when the bank was smaller and needed to boost the brand recognition. Now that we’re a little larger, I’m not so sure it moves the needle at all and just clutters the feed. Does anyone have any insights about the use of branded frames on Instagram and whether or not they are actually helpful?
Over the last few months our Instagram engagement has considerably lowered and I am wondering if other brands are experiencing the same thing? And equally wondering if you have any theories on why. I know algorithm shifts have had an impact, but think there’s likely more to it than just that- i.e. is the election also a contributing factor?
Has anyone else experienced Instagram captions disappearing from published or scheduled posts recently? And/or not being able to add captions on those posts? Have tried updating the app, logging out and back in, etc. I submitted a support request to IG, but am not expecting to hear anything.
