How can I schedule a weekly report email

When I go to the ‘share’ function on the profile performance page, I don’t see the option to schedule a weekly email with this report. How can I do that?

Business Instagram Hacked — How can I recover / what are my options?

Last Tuesday, one of the accounts I manage was hacked and the email and phone number were changed. I contacted Meta Support Pros and they have been telling me the issue is ‘under investigation’ but nothing more. Stakeholders are now asking me to consider other options.What other options do I have?Has anyone else successfully recovered a hacked account? Are you able to petition for your username back and verification from Meta once you start a new account?

Personal Information Requests under CCPA & Other Laws

Hey all! Curious if anyone has experience with dealing with personal information requests from consumers in light of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other laws involving personal information? Particularly how it impacts information provided over social media? One of our clients is implementing a data request form and we’ll be tasked with checking to see what information consumers have provided across channels (social, email, website, etc.) There’s not a ton out there (that I can find) regarding what’s required when it comes to deleting personal information on social, so we’re not sure if someone requests that we delete their information, if that includes deleting past social comments, messages, etc. Just seeing if anyone else has any experience related to this!

Facebook Cover Photos for Location Pages

Hello! I currently manage our brand (parent) Facebook page and over 260 location pages on Facebook. The Classic Pages allowed me to change the Facebook cover photo on the parent page and it would automatically change all the cover photos for the location pages.Our pages recently switched to the New Pages Experience and now the location pages don’t change when the parent cover photo is changed. I really don’t want to switch into 260+ pages to change the cover photos. Does anyone have a resolution for this? Thank you!!

Instagram Again

Hello, I know there was a Meta outage last week. Is anyone still having issues with Instagram? I manage 10 accounts, and when I toggle to 1 of the accounts, the account, the page starts flickering and the account looks incomplete. I tried logging into the account from my computer and it did not work, I tried both Chrome and Safari and nothing worked. I tried logging out of all Instagram accounts, I un-installed and re-installed the app, and I restarted my phone. None of that worked, the account is showing the same thing. I attached screenshots of what the account looks like and of what happens when I switch over. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Dan

Is Meta putting a penalty on the content I'm posting?

Hi everyone! I post consistently on all the major platforms with the main one being Instagram. Usually I can easily see 700K+ impressions each week with tons of engagements. The content is very audience driven and has been performing well up until recently.For the past two months it seems like all my posts and reels can’t get past the mid ten thousands for views and the engagements are very low.It feels like I did something wrong and Meta is capping my reach. Does anyone have any ideas?

Posting Reels Without Sharing It To Your Feed

It appears that this is no longer possible to do, and it doesn’t matter if you check the box for (Share Reel to your profile feed) in Sprout - it posts to your feed regardless.  Can anyone confirm that this is the case? If so, it’s unfortunate because I just had my first instance of needing to post a reel but not wanting it in my main feed.

Thoughts on backdating Facebook posts?

Hi all, just wanted to hear the community’s thoughts on using the backdate feature on Facebook. Does anyone use it often, why or why not? Has anyone seen benefit - or even negative impacts - using it?I work with a few clients that like to use it, though it’s sometimes because content was published late or past a specific date. Does anyone know if backdating posts negatively affects post performance or SEO? Thanks in advance!

Incorporating video views in overall reporting

Hi team, I’m looking for clarity on how / if video views are incorporated into other metrics. Our team does not specifically report on video views - only on impressions, engagements and engagement rate. I know that video views are separated out in Sprout Social reporting, so I just want to clarify if they are included in either impressions or engagements as well, or will I need to add the video views to those metrics?  I’m conscious that TikTok views are included in the impressions metric, are there any other channels that do this? I don’t want to accidentally double up on the data, so I’m looking for clarification and best way to report on video views given our team’s reporting needs. Any help would be appreciated!

Meta Pixel Won't Connect to Shopify

Hi friends! Unfortunately, I’m here with another “why does Facebook Business Manager hate us all” post :(Our web team has been trying to link our Facebook Ad Pixel to our Shopify site for a hot minute with no success. Despite having all page permissions on the Facebook account, we receive a “you don’t have the permissions for this” error message every time we attempt to link them. I have tried as the Facebook account owner, had the Shopify account owner try, and a few other team members who have access to both platforms but no one can make it work. Unfortunately, Facebook does not have a responsive support team and we’ve followed their online “help” guide to no avail. Any tips on how to link Facebook Pixels to Shopify would be greatly appreciated! Or if you have the secret on how to get FB on the phone, I’ll take that too. Thanks in advance!

Instagram Broadcast Channels .. What are you doing?

My personal account continues to get invites from brand accounts to join their broadcast channels on Instagram. I haven’t actually joined or created any yet, but they seem like they could potentially be useful tool to get in touch with followers. So, I am asking what everyone else’s experience with this feature is.Are you a part of any with brands you follow? Have you created any for a brand you manage? What has been your experience? What is the ‘discussion’ like? How easy/ difficult is it to manage? What’s the business case? If you’re not using them, why not? I wanna know the tea!

Meta Shops "Upgraded" Checkout (ie, 2.9% processing fee)

Hi guys,Ok, I need some help pulling some data. Basically, our team is trying to decide if it’s worth it to eat the processing fee (2.9% for us) that Meta will begin requiring in order to operate a facebook/instagram shop on April 24th. I have been tasked with researching the value of keeping our Facebook/Instagram shops, and I’m trying to pull some data on how many times our “tagged products” from posts were actually clicked on. This is proving difficult because Meta has recently disabled the product tagging feature to anyone who hasn’t “upgraded” their shops. Does anyone know how to get this metric?  Additionally, curious to know if anyone else is in the same situation. If so, what type of business do you work for/own and how did you make your decision to keep or to close your Facebook/IG shop?

Universal Music/Tik Tok Update

Hello! As I was scrolling through my FYP last night, I came upon a Tik Tok mentioning that Universal Music will be pulling all of there artist’s music from the app. Was wondering about a few things after hearing this: How is this going to affect the videos that are already published on the platform with a sound that involves these artists? Will the audio be removed?  How are other companies going about this if audio is removed? Would it be best to republish some of that video with a new audio, or will the algorithm work against us? Thanks all!

Content strategy for different artists/performers

Looking for insight from those who have worked on social reports on events they host with different artists/performers  Traditional reporting/benchmarking is not as effective due to content related to certain popular artists/performers naturally getting more engagement than others. Looking for advice on how to guide content strategy best when post differentiators may just be due to artist. What would be the best way to analyze what types of content (different color backgrounds, visual elements, audio elements, etc.) would truly perform best prior to a performance?

Do I *NEED* to connect a client's accounts for the best results?

Hi! I’m still learning the ropes of Sprout. I work for an agency that works with a number of clients. Some of our clients grant us access to their social accounts, while others like to keep their control.I’ve had time to explore on Sprout a little bit, but I would love to have a list of benefits to having access to a client’s Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc. versus having minimal access to their accounts.For example, a client asked us to find the demographics of their followers, but we didn’t yet have access to their accounts. I let them know that we could get them limited information, but would be able to get them a lot more if we had access.Is there a full list of information available that we would be able to obtain after connecting a client’s accounts to Sprout? Thank you!
