At my previous job, we had our account temporarily suspended. They thought we violated community rules which we didn’t! I submitted a ticket and was able to talk to a live person. They also sent my ticket to the escalation team where I had to provide proof of organization and content examples.
How to submit a ticket and chat with live support:
- https://www.facebook.com/business/help
- Top right > click on Get Support
- Work through the form. Once you’re done, it should redirect you to chat with a live person

Hey guys,
Our Instagram account was shut down. I tried to go to the get support page but it only comes up with my account saying it is restricted (I’ve submitted a review for this) but our Instagram account doesn’t appear there and there is no form I can submit.
Is there any other way of speaking to someone at Meta? We cannot create a new Instagram account with the same handle because it says it is in use, but we cannot access it and we cannot appeal for a review.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Meta has changed their process again! It only lets you submit a ticket--I’m not sure if you can talk to a live person anymore.

- Top right > click on Get Support
- The form only appears when you’re login to your personal account that is linked to your business account.
- Scroll down and under Still need help, select Contact Support
- Under What issue are you having? > select It’s something else > provide the description (e.g. disabled account) > a drop down will appear for you to select
- Under What asset can we help you with? > select the business channel
- In the next drop down > provide info > once completed select Chat
If you’re lucky, you may get a live person other than that it’s automatic responses. Hope this help.
Misery loves company, I suppose. I have been restricted from Meta Ads Manager for absolutely no reason, and I have been working on this with several “Meta Marketing Pros” and case #s and phone calls, etc for months. They have been absolutely no help.
