I reserve time on my calendar for long-form writing and video work as well as batch work the “little emails.”

Reserving time on calendars is so beneficial, especially if you’re the type of person who tends to get pulling into a million different directions or is asked to hop on calls frequently! Plus, it helps hold you accountable.
This is a great tip, especially when you get invited to a lot of meetings. Whenever I see my calendar getting a little too blocked up, I try to block out the rest of the day so I can make sure I get work done!
+6Time blocking is key. I prioritize projects based on deadlines. I block off time on my calendar to work on the projects, respond to emails, and anything else that will keep me from being pulled into an unnecessary meeting.
+2THIS x a million. My typical “time block” that is on my calendar almost every day is labeled as “Focus Time,” which is also labeled in red so I don’t miss it.

+4Love this!! I usually will turn my status on Teams to “Busy” if I really need to focus, but I LOVEEE the idea of blocking out time to focus.
I agree! Weekly I’ll determine my top priorities and block out time on my calendar to work on them.
