Hey Arbors,
Here’s a WIN! We recently upgraded to paid Canva at work (I went 2.5 years on the free plan. NOW being able to resize my creative to other social channel sizes is a HUGE WIN for me. What an incredible time saver.
Here’s a CHALLENGE. - Meta’s dashboard is a nightmare at times to figure out. So, I recently had them shut me down. I applied twice with challenges. The 2nd time, they lifted the restriction and said it was a mistake made by their technology. But, when I go to Ads Manager I have 2 big notifications on the page saying my account is suspended. It says go to “Business Support Home” for more info. When I go there, it has the message, “We removed your restriction because we made a mistake. I am able to run campaigns from Facebook Business Suite, but I can’t do anything in Ads Manager. I sent support screenshots asking why I have two different, contradictory messages (about 3 weeks ago) and have heard nothing back.
Did I mention I don’t like Meta’s system much?
Have a stellar day everyone.

Meta Ads and Business Managers are such a headache, but I agree that Canva’s resizing tool is fully worth it!
What’s working for us is posting more carousels, especially with songs in Instagram (their now-looser music licensing is also a win!) After reading that those would show up on the reels tab, I gave it a try and have seen great results from it! Linkedin, while it doesn’t post in a carousel format, has also loved the multi-photo posts.
A current challenge is that I’m still eagerly awaiting Trial Reels to be rolled out to me. I’m looking forward to playing around with some new audiences and getting to A/B test outside of our followers.

I have had the same issue with Meta going on 2.5 years now. I have a whole folder of screenshots that I send constantly, I’ve submitted every support claim possible, have talked to numerous “pros” and been bounced between different departments. It’s a nightmare. Out of nowhere last month I was able to start boosting posts again, but can’t do anything else. And every now and then I get a message on FB from Meta Business Support saying “it's been a while since you ran an ad. We’re just reminding you that ads are a great way to showcase your brand.”
Why yes, it has been a while...because you won’t let me.
So when you get really frustrated over this, just remember you’re not alone in this battle

Canva paid is a GAME CHANGER! Also check out the image upscaler if you have blurry images
@kayla.stephens
Thanks for the similar story about Meta. It is astonishing how a big company is so adept at taking money but can’t provide support. LOL. So much for their brand credibility.
Cheers for the holidays.
@nicole.serrano2024
Thanks for the tip on image upscaler. I’m currently working on an print ad, bigger than my social and the image is a bit blurry.
I’ll give it a try.
Happy holidays.
The instructions seem vague about where to interact with others.
I have posted to these three topics in ‘Likes and Dislikes”
Additionally I am commenting on 3 other posts in this thread.
Seems like we have to take a ½ day off work to complete these tasks.
Good luck to all.
I could sure use that fridge beside my desk…. with cold ones!!
@julia.gross
Hi Julia,
I’m fairly new at IG and we have hired a local IG helper recently who is handling a lot of the backend stuff there after I schedule the main post.
I’m familiar with carousels in LinkedIN, so I assume they are similar in IG.
Is running carousels in IG the same as the reels? I get so confused with all the jargon between platforms. Reels in IG, Stories in FB. Are these not the same thing?
Now you’re talking about another feature called Trial Reels? What is that and how will it differ form regular reels?
Happy holidays,
Scott McK.
Do we need to list our posts and interactions like we did on previous days?
A big win for me this past year was listening to Jacob Shipley’s advice and posting again if you feel your content didn’t perform as well as it should have with minor edits and tweaks. I re-posted and the post had a minor viral moment. Link to podcast for reference: https://www.enrollify.org/episodes/ep--16-a-minimum-viable-social-strategy-for-a-team-of-one
