Has anyone else noticed a drop in link clicks to external websites across Facebook and LinkedIn this year? Have you pivoted your strategy to keeping people on platform as opposed to driving to your website?

Hey @amyw, our industry is a bit strange because we are highly focused on recruiting versus sales, so we haven’t seen a huge decrease, but a slight one for sure. One thing we have done is utilized stories/reels with links highlighted in it to try to “spice up” folks engaging in the link.


Yes, link clicks were down. And they’re still down even more (but now posting less of them as a result). 

For the links we use, we still do UTMs (for both paid + organic) to be able to see where website traffic is happening.

But, trying to do the push to keep most content w/in platform.
