This is the workspace of somebody who became a grandma unexpectedly last week (baby was 6 weeks early!). Therefore, food/scrunchies/some weird bell thing cover my desk today as I try to catch up on my work 😂

I am a fan of Christmas, so I have a Christmas tree with custom lights and a projector that plays wintry scenes on the far wall. 🎄🎅

I like to keep my workspace personalized! The quote to the side is from my Grandma, who passed away at 101. She lived through two pandemics, the Great Depression, her husband’s early death, and raised 8 kids as well as over 100 grandkids and great grandkids before her death. She used to always say to “remember the depression,” to remind us of what we have, and what matters. She taught us that in some ways she had it easier being raised in the depression, since her childhood was never about “stuff” but was family centered and still full of love. I added it to my desk after she passed away to keep her memory with me and to remind me of what really matters day to day.

I really need to declutter! Being surrounded by dogs all day is a consolation for being deskridden.

My work space! Must have the emotional support plants (pictured behind the wall is “Sully” the monsterra). Not pictured is Snake Gyllenhaal (behind my screens because he’s sensitive and hanging behind my chair is Marilyn Mongrow). I love natural light, but in the mornings it’s too harsh, hence the blinds. Two screens are a must! Plus all the water and pens and highlighters! Thanks to Sprout, I have less post it notes on my desk today!

I love my office! The view of the California trees and landscape is really nice and I have plenty of space to stay organized. Natural light is so important :)

I decorate my desk every holiday because I’m a Taurus and we love making every place feel like home. When I feel at home I feel more creative! This year the theme was Barbie pink.

Behold the end-of-year insanity of a Manager, Library Services and Marketing. I am one person overseeing two “departments” at a mid-size business law firm in Vancouver. I manage our social media, website, print and digital marketing campaigns, designing packaging and co-branded gift items - basically any graphical representation of the firm comes from me. And I have my MLIS, which is, hilariously, what got me this job.

This is a mild December look for my workspace, but thankfully only temporary. I call it my annual box fort. In this photo, you can see a small snippet of unwrapped client gifts, unwrapped door prizes for our upcoming firm holiday party, a box of old photos I need to digitize and archive, library books that need to be deaccessioned or put into long-term storage, and the totally not-cable-managed spaghetti under my desk that drives me bonkers. Not pictured: the hall outside my office which is a sea of blue a couple hundred wine bags and other gifts, each wrapped by yours truly.

My workspace is a small corner of my bedroom. It may not be beautiful or esthetically pleasing but it’s real. I had to say goodbye to my office space once my 3 under 3 came along 🙂 but it's packed with everything I need to be productive and creative. The standing desk lets me switch up my posture throughout the day, keeping me energized and focused. The walking pad helps me stay fit and clear my head when I need a break (or even during meetings). And of course, the photos of my kids bring me joy and motivation every day. What truly makes this space special is the way it allows me to seamlessly transition between work, exercise, and family time. It's a reminder that even in a small space, you can create a functional and inspiring environment.

This is so cute! I like that you’re by the window and made the space cozy.

She’s a bit messy...but she’s mine. My favorite thing is having two screens because I’m always multitasking working in social media.

I love the holiday vibe! 🎄

Deeply untidy, but here it is: My set-up.

I juggle a zillion (7) different brands under one corporate umbrella, so having some cheat sheets for color codes and brand hierarchy are godsends.

But when it comes to motivation, I have two sticky notes: One from my fiancée and one that says, “Relax.” Both remind me to breathe during frustrating moments and to keep my eyes on the important things rather than whatever is making me want to chuck my computer out the window.

I have long noticed that the people with the least tidy desks are the top performing ones around here!

The plants are awesome. Natural light and plants make things homey!

Woohoo for Christmas! That’s so cute.

So cute and festive!

I love a decorated desk for the holidays! We put up desk christmas trees yesterday here!

Love the aesthetic of your setup!

I love that you name your plants! 🌱

Also, I like that laptop stand! I usually just use my two screens but that stand is sleek.

I wish I could have plants in my office! They make everything feel so much more lively!

While I always enjoy having a handful of my favorite TV and movie characters around (list below), it’s the tiles breaking up an otherwise boring wall that keeps my energy up during the day!

Funko collection: Billy Madison, Wesley from Princess Bride, Michael from The Good Place, Sweet Dee from Always Sunny, Alex Trebek, Lumbergh from Office Space. Not pictured: Ted Lasso and Leslie Knope

I really like the tiles too!

What an uplifting view! :)

While I do have a office set up in my home my perferred workpace is in the living room with my comfy couch. Being comfortable is my motviation to stay focused. Bonus for the holiday seaon is the Christmas tree view.

Here is my office set-up. I enjoy my hybrid schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Two screens (or 3 if I use my laptop) and the iPad are essential to keep my productivity moving along. I also need at least two beverages on my desk at all times ☕️

So tidy and functional!

Congratulations!

My office workspace is not cute, but we just finally got organization for our social media equipment! Before, everything was just thrown around all over the place. Now it’s finally getting organized and tracked.

This is actually a really smart way to label and store social tools
