Can I cheat and do two? I’m gonna cheat.

#1. Canva, my ride or die graphic design tool.

I wear so many hats at work, and having Canva as my sidekick makes my design process so much easier than it would be if I was using Adobe.

At least, I think it does. Canva makes sure I don’t have to figure out how to use all the Adobe bells and whistles--just the ones I desperately need to prepare certain files.

#2. AirTable, my project management pick of a decade-plus.

AirTable works the way my brain does and is completely customizable, making it scratch that itch to be able to organize things my way, 100% of the time.

Honestly Sprout Social has been the biggest game changer for me this year since I advocated for our team to start using it. I spend a significant amount of my time on content planning and social media management for two organizations, and Sprout saves so much time since I can almost always schedule all my content in one spot. Also, I didn’t realize how many tags/mentions I was missing because of Meta’s glitchy notifications, so the smart inbox tool has been incredibly helpful as well.

I love how well Canva integrates with other platforms, too! Is AirTable better for teams or does it work well for individual users also?

I use AirTable both ways, solo and with a team, but I probably use it more solo.

Canva for sure!

Our team also uses Asana which is helpful for cross functional campaigns and planning. I use the calendar on sprout for social only content planning.

Yes I huge time saver, I also was the sprout advocate on my team.

Have you ever tired Asana? I like it better than Airtable for creative work

Apart from Sprout Social and Canva, which are amazing tools that I use on a daily basis, Adobe Color’s accessibility tool is a go-to for testing color contrast in designs. Accessible Brand Colors by Use All Five is another great accessibility tool that I’ve been using as my organization is working towards a rebrand.

Love this! Color contrast is something that I think a lot of people still aren’t aware of or don’t prioritize, so I love that there is such a straightforward tool to make sure designs are accessible.

Hands down Canva is the tool I use the most other than Sprout Social!

Looking forward to seeing any calendar planning tools others might use for planning social media out.

I also use the Social Media Calendar for schools from Finalsite it gives me some great ideas for posts. It comes out quarterly and is specifically for schools but I could see it being used for other purposes.

Canva for sure!

I love Sprout’s content calendar tool! The notes and tagging helped me switch from a few clunky excel spreadsheets to having all of our content calendars in one spot, and I love it. As long as I remember to tag things properly, it works great.

I can’t seem to reply to specific posts in here. I  have used Airtable for one specific project and need to use it more.. hoping to dig into it and see the possibilities.

Welcome to week 2.  only two seeks until the holidays start to really feel real! LOL.

I hate to admit it, but Canva has become my go to social media creation tool.

The ability to resize a layout to a new size in the touch of a button is just so handy when you post to 5 social channels.

My other can’t live without too is the Snipping Tool for taking Screenshots from my desktop.

Thanks and have a stellar week!

Monday.com!! I know other people have mentioned their project management systems, but I live by Monday. It organizes our content calendar, my meeting notes, my task list, and other projects that need to be done. There’s been a few times where it goes down and I truly don’t know what to do without it.

We’re all obsessed with Canva, right? I use Adobe too, but for some projects, it’s just so much quicker to do things in Canva!

Fellow school social employee and I’ve never heard of Finalsite. Thanks for sharing!

Aside from Sprout, I’m a big fan of the Lightroom mobile app for quick turnarounds or posting photos while at an event.

I’ll also forever be an Adobe Premiere Pro fan. I struggle with non-timeline editing platforms, so Premiere and Premiere Rush are my go-tos for video.

One of my favorite tools is the “GoFull Page” widget in Chrome that allows me to screenshot the full screen. Defintily comes in handy along with the Snipping Tool.

Strongly agree on the notifications, the smart inbox is maybe my favorite part of Sprout. There are so many tags that I’m never informed on natively on the social platforms.

Love Canva, it has helped speed up creative projects when the design team is swapped with things.

Canva is my ride-or-die as well! And I’ll have to look into AirTable. I’ve been needing a more savvy project management platform.

I live in Asana. Truly, I don’t know how I survived in previous roles without a project management tool. All our Communications requests are submitted through a form that automates so much of the process for us! Such a game changer.

Yes, Sprout definitly makes social scheduling so easy and our Customer Care team loves it too.

Haha I’m a huge snip tool user as well. I’ve had to make a habit of cleaning out my screenshots folder regularly!

Cap Cut is everything to me! Ease of quick editing, exporting, fonts, etc. It really simplifies my editing process and it’s just so user friendly. Also, their free option isn’t even that limiting but I did opt in for the Pro Plan just for some fun extras!
