My biggest challenge when creating reels for my brand is understanding how and when to use creators to support content creation and awareness building. By learning about Sprouts influencer and creator searching tools, I will follow the tips of not only using these tools but also working with more creators, too!

 

 

 

 

 


A lot of the content I would want to boost on Reels is not made with Reels in mind - it’s made with broadcast in mind and social as an afterthought. It’s a big challenge! But building the videos in the safe zone is a huge help to deliver to my production team when sharing what will make a video perform better.


The hardest thing for me is to get video  that fits in the safe zone since I usually repurpose already existing video. I am going to use what you shared in the webinar to show to our video team to help them see the importance of the safe zone. 


My biggest challenge is to curate a compelling reels with text overlay. I love the idea of safe zone- That really helped


My biggest challenge is creating Reels content that appeals to both the Gen X community and also appeals to Millennials and Gen Z.

The types of reels that are most popular gave me the most ideas to help me do this.

Creating content that is both relevant to trends but remains applicable to the brand DNA is the biggest challenge. I’m excited to learn more about Tagger and see how it can help me!


We have a very small team and I am our only content marketing specialist, so I sometimes struggle with time to create unique Reels content. However, we have blog posts that I write and can easily use the tip of reusing content to reuse these blog articles into a quick video.


Getting more eyes on our content that follow the trends by boosting our best performing reels - so excited to do this via Sprout Social now that I’m aware of this feature. 


I find that creating reels can be very time consuming, but I love the suggestion and reminder to reuse what we already have. Plus, the storytelling types as jumping off point slide you shared serves as a great way to reuse the content we have with a diff storytelling pov and it can help me frame content ideation before I go into the creation phase. 


Determining the creative storytelling viewpoint is the most challenging thing for me, and the top 8 trending storytelling types are the most helpful thing for me to create new reels! 


My biggest challenge with creating reels for my company is copyrighted music. Our Marketing team can provide us with music that we own the rights to share, but it is an additional step to get it added vs. just creating directly in the app with the provided music. We already have a workaround for this with our Marketing team as mentioned, but I’d love for Meta to provide more options in this category down the line.


Challenge: Creating content that works well on the platform while staying within our brand voice.

Helpful tip: Think about a wide variety of approaches and concepts (e.g., #photodump, Q&A, Listicles)


My biggest challenge is time and cooperation. I work for an architecture firm so I at times need help from designers. So that means pulling them away from projects. As a one person team, it can take a long time to film and edit while other things are piling up. But the ideas for reels will help as a jumping off point / a template.


Such a great webinar today! My biggest challenge is getting approval in a timely manner from my stake holders. We will create a trending reel but by the time the approvals come through, the trend has moved on and we don’t see as high of ROI on those posts as we could have. 

Top tip from today’s webinar: the different categories of top trending reels! This just jump started my creativity and has me thinking of what types of reels we can be integrating into our strategy that we haven’t done before. 


My biggest challenge with creating reels is mainly team capacity & not always knowing where to start. I work for a news organization so there isn’t always an obvious creative angle. But the different kinds of reels -- Q+A, POV, photodump -- are a great place to start. I also saw a lot of people talking about the mobile publishing feature in the Zoom chat and I think that will help with my workflow. 


One of my biggest personal challenges when creating Instagram reels is coming up with something creative, educational, and exciting while staying unique and following brand guidelines. A tip from today’s session that I think will help me overcome these struggles is focusing on different storytelling types as a jump off point to see what content is resonating best with our audience!


My biggest struggle is staying consistent with Reels, but I am working on planning ahead and scheduling out.


The biggest challenge that I find my team struggles with is keeping up with trends, and understanding what trends work for our brands, and which we are stretching with. The biggest tip that Joana hit SO HARD is the importance of consistency and telling the brand story. I think that her advice is so helpful that we need to drill down what our goal is, and how we want our brand to be perceived on social, and we will see the performance grow. Quality over quantity! 


My biggest challenge when creating reels for my company is to continue brainstorming creative ways to showcase our brand. Thanks to this webinar, I will definitely try the photo dump trend for a few reels and hopefully it will resonate! Looking forward to trying something new. Thank you, guys, again for this. My biggest challenge is figuring out how to make reels using trending audio without infringing on copyright. I am excited to tell my team about the 35% rule!


The biggest challenge we’ve had in the past is being able to engage with our audience in a way that felt authentic and true to our voice. I think this is because we weren’t staying in the “safe zone!” That’s definitely the best tip we received today. We tended to fill the page with text or logos, and I think having a more organized way of sharing the information will help us reinforce our brand and more. 


Our biggest challenge when creating Reels is editing time. The new boosting offering in Sprout is very helpful knowing that we would like to boost our highest performing organic content. Thanks for a great session!


Biggest challenge? All platforms are so saturated and it’s becoming more and more difficult to gain traction, even with paid posts. And reels are so much more time-consuming to produce that static posts. I am not sure any of the tips shared today will help overcome this situation, but I might give photodumps a try for a quick reel.


 

For me, it’s capacity. I’m the sole content creator and manager for 4 organizations over 11 networks. I’m trying to repurpose content we have in our library, but getting an idea, and then having manpower to actually pull it off is hard. 

 

The other burden is that I work with people who are older and perceive themselves as being too series to go along with short form videos.
