Our company was split into 2 different companies due to a recent acquisition. These are now company X and company Y. Both companies want to keep the meta pixel once created for the website, but now each company will have their own new and individual website and want to keep/use the same pixel. Now knowing the pixel has to remain on the business page it originated on and cannot move, what are the options here? Can company X give access to the pixel to Company Y and how will that effect data, etc? 

I was watching a recent webinar on Threads but had to leave early. Is there a way to rewatch a webinar? I can’t seem to find it and didn’t get any emails after the event to watch a recording.  Thanks! 

After months of beta testing, it seems LinkedIn is moving towards thumbnailing link previews. See this recent article from Social Media Today: https://www.socialmediatoday.com/news/linkedin-updates-link-previews-organic-posts-smaller-images/717571/Wanted to start a conversation to see what others are doing - how they plan to adjust their strategies etc. on LinkedIn. As an organic social media manager, this is a bummer as now it seems we can’t use link previews and could draw bogus clicks (like Twitter/X!) Any insights are appreciated!

Is anyone else having trouble with Facebook pulling incorrect images when scheduling and sending content on to their timelines? Every time we try to post a link, without editing Title and Description of the Attached Link, and it pulls up the default thumbnail of our website and not the specified thumbnail that is associated with that page. It’s only when we change the Title and Description of the Attached Link is when it pulls in the image correctly. This has been happening since Mid-April of this year.

Hello!Has anyone else experienced a sudden drop in engagements and impressions on LinkedIn as of late? I manage a company page and over the past two weeks our impressions have plummeted -- despite not doing anything differently in terms of frequency of our content.I know that the algorithm is changing more frequently now, but if that’s what caused this, we’ve really taken a hit. Along those lines, I continue to see that LinkedIn suppresses the visibility of content that includes links that would take a user away from LinkedIn. Is there any truth to this? I’ve been ignoring it as a possibility, but nearly all our content points back to our website, so I’m beginning to wonder.Thanks in advance!

What sort of topics you have set up, how you fine tuned them etc, and what sort of outcomes you are getting.Just FYI: I’m quite familiar with Sprout, we, quite extensively, use Publishing, Reports and InBox - we use tags and inbox rules etc and we’ve been using Sprout for more than ten years (2009 if I recall) And, although we are a small consultancy we work for some fairly large companies from Media to Insurance for whom we assist with social media management, moderation and forensics. We are beginning to see some possibilities for us using Listening.

Hi Arboretum Community!My name is Stephanie and I’m coming to you from Sprout’s Agency team. 👋🏻 I’m reaching out to the brain trust on behalf of one of my customers, who has a new Instagram profile to connect to Sprout that doesn’t have its own dedicated Facebook page (this Instagram profile is a division of the company and separate from the company’s main Instagram profile/Facebook page, so it sounds like there is some hesitancy to launch a new individual page).Knowing Facebook no longer supports “unlisting” Pages, is there a workaround for connecting the Instagram profile as a business to Sprout without having a public-facing Facebook Page? For example, has anyone created a Facebook page but unlisted it, per this article? Thanks in advance for any/all inputs!

Hi! I am trying to grow my nonprofit’s Instagram account, and recently realized our Stories are not sharable on Instagram. Our posts, however, are sharable. I’ve looked at our Stories from multiple other accounts and indeed they cannot be shared on Instagram. Several of my colleagues have asked me to fix this so they can share our company posts - which I really would love them to do!I’ve been through all our settings and everything looks good - all content is sharable, we are public, we have a business account….Has anyone had this happen and figured out how to fix it?? I submitted a request for help via Instagram but I’m not optimistic about hearing back... 

Having some trouble with Meta ads this week for one of our clients FB Event pages were boosted and the ads are not displaying numbers, or allowing us to edit the audience or ad itself. The ads are not appearing in the ads manager and are only appearing in Ad Center and Meta Business Suite. Getting this error message when trying to edit and resave the ad. Is anyone else having this issue with FB Event boosting's and is there a way to fix it without restarting a whole new ad?  

Was wondering how folks felt about shadow banning and if you personally think it’s real. 

Hello! I currently manage our brand (parent) Facebook page and over 260 location pages on Facebook. The Classic Pages allowed me to change the Facebook cover photo on the parent page and it would automatically change all the cover photos for the location pages.Our pages recently switched to the New Pages Experience and now the location pages don’t change when the parent cover photo is changed. I really don’t want to switch into 260+ pages to change the cover photos. Does anyone have a resolution for this? Thank you!!

Hello, I know there was a Meta outage last week. Is anyone still having issues with Instagram? I manage 10 accounts, and when I toggle to 1 of the accounts, the account, the page starts flickering and the account looks incomplete. I tried logging into the account from my computer and it did not work, I tried both Chrome and Safari and nothing worked. I tried logging out of all Instagram accounts, I un-installed and re-installed the app, and I restarted my phone. None of that worked, the account is showing the same thing. I attached screenshots of what the account looks like and of what happens when I switch over. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Dan
