FB Boosted posts not delivering?

Has anyone had issues with boosted posts not delivering at all? The ad is approved and active, but no engagement or budget spent. This has happened with the last three posts I tried boosting. FB support provided no help - they directed me to an article that was not useful. Below is a screenshot.

Hey Everyone!  I have come across an issue I am wondering if anyone can help with. I boosted a post on Instagram only to have it rejected for no reason. The content isn't political in the slightest and inclusive, so safe to say I am baffled.  Can anyone lend a hand?

College/Department Level Engagement Rate Per Impression Averages

Hello! I manage the social strategy and accounts for a computer science college at a bigger university. One of the questions I get constantly is how our average engagement rate per impression (organic, across platforms) compares to other colleges or departments in Universities of comparable size.We have undergraduate, graduate, and PhD programs within our college and are located primarily in Boston, MA, with network campuses around the country and in Canada. Hoping to get any insight into this from anyone willing to share. LinkedIn Follower Data Export

Hello everyone!Does anyone know if there is a way to download my LinkedIn Company Page's followers into an Excel document that includes their names, company name, etc. Our BD/Sales team was looking to use this list for their activities and I want to be able to use this data to show our people that they should be posting to their own connections and not relying on the company posts to do all of the heavy lifting.I believe there was a way in Sales Navigator to download this data, but my company no longer is using Sales Navigator. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

For those of you using Meta Business Manager and advertising on Facebook and Instagram, I’m curious what your daily average spend per campaign is? Please share what type of campaign objective and also campaign duration so there’s context for the group. Meta marketing pro is saying average $50 / day for traffic campaigns in general as a rule of thumb

Tiktok or IG with low views and poor caption

Hi all!We posted a duet without a caption beyond the duet on tiktok...were a little to fast on the draw! It’s doing eh, thinking we should pull it down and repost later today in hopes it does better.Does anyone have experience trying this? Did it help? Or did /willthe algos catch it was the same content and push it down so it did the same or worse? Any advice?

Online mentors?

Social media marketing is my second career, meaning I didn’t grow up intuitively knowing things like video film and editing.I love Sprout and NISM webinars (thank you, @Jonathan Zuluaga), but I tend to learn best seeing it done in front of me.Anyone had any success with that kind of mentor relationship? How do you go about finding help when you need things that seem very basic answered? Curious to see, too, if @ashley.manivong, gets any leads on virtual training that might help.Thanks!

How are you all making your IG more accessible?

Hello!Our website was recently flagged for accessibility issues, and now my managers are putting a lot of pressure to make social media more accessible as well. I agree that it is important, but without being able to schedule alt text for Instagram via Sprout, how is everyone doing this?I am a team of one, and I manage multiple channels and post multiple times a day. Do I need to manually add the alt text every single time a post goes out? That seems unsustainable, especially if I am busy in meetings or traveling.

Facebook Business Account Access

I am trying to assign an employee to one of our Facebook pages but they aren’t receiving the invite to join our account. Has anyone had this issue before? They have their email notifications turned on, it's not in their junk inbox… so I have no clue why they aren’t receiving the invite to join. Thanks!

Hello all, I’ve been struggling with this issue ever since taking over the management of the social channels at my current workplace. Since we are an association with so many different chapters, divisions, student chapters, committees, etc… and they often are made up of an international member-base, we get a lot of people listing as working for us on LinkedIn when they don’t.Shoutout to all the other association people on here! Can you share what you’ve done to help guide your members in the removal of their employment record on LinkedIn? I’ve commented on a few suggesting they change the record to the specific chapter they are associated with, but a lot of those groups don’t have a LinkedIn page.Thanks in advance!

How do you price your agency services?

My boss was wondering if anyone would be willing to share how they package their social media services. He wants to see how other agencies are providing different services at different pricing levels. Facebook FAQs not appearing on mobile app

My agency developed a Frequently Asked Questions message to streamline traffic, but we've observed that it's only visible on desktop. Despite having all settings enabled, it doesn't display on mobile devices.For those who utilize the Frequently Asked Questions message feature, does it appear on mobile for you? If so, what steps did you take to make it visible?

Meta removing Carousel Video Views?

Has anyone else noticed Meta removed Instagram carousel video views as part of the data Sprout has access to?This was a massive part of our Instagram strategy and as a result has reduced our views significantly. Tried to contact them but as always their support is utterly useless and Sprout say it’s on them to sort. Incredibly frustrating.

At the moment, in the Service Console in Salesforce, whenever the same customer sends a message via different channels (like, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,...), a new case is created for the different channels. Can we think about a way of linking them?Can we use the social persona object for this?

Boosting Instagram posts that @mention a partner profile

Hi Sprout community,Stephanie from the Sprout Success team here. 👋🏻 I’m hoping the community may be able to help one of my teams who’s running into a challenge boosting organic Instagram posts via Meta/Ads Manager.In short, they have an evergreen boosting budget to promote top-performing organic posts for engagement, but when boosting posts that @mention/tag Instagram profiles with large followings (i.e. 100K+ followers), they noticed that Meta/Ads Manager has started enforcing the Partnership ad toggle and will not let them successfully launch the campaign until the @mentions/tags are removed from the post copy. This is an agency who manages organic social for a number of clients, but this particular issue is only impacting one at the moment. Ideally, they’d be able to boost/promote these posts and keep in the partner profile @mention, so we’re hoping there’s a workaround. Does anyone know if this is due to Instagram’s recent updates to Partnership ads (formerly branded content ads)

Changing Profile Picture for MULTIPLE FB Business Pages

Hi! I manage 250+ Facebook pages for our multiple locations. Does anyone know how I can update the profile pictures for all these pages in bulk? I used do it with out old listings provider Yext, but now I use RioSEO and they do not manage photos.  Thank you for your help!!

Page admin unable to log in

One of the admins for my Facebook page is no longer able to log in to her profile, so she cannot access our page. She accidentally deleted FB from her authentication app, so she’s unable to provide the code for two-step authentication.Has anyone had success getting around authentication codes or verifying identity another way? She is still able to log in to IG and post to FB from there. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

What types of static image posts are working to create hype for in-person events?

Hi there, fellow SMM - I manage social for an SaaS in the risk management space called Riskonnect and we’re wondering what type of out-of-the-box static image posts that are working well for your brand to promote upcoming in-person events and virtual webinar type events. We have no trouble getting engagement on in-person event posts when we’re live at an event, but it’s pretty challenging to get quality engagement on posts leading up to an event (not posting about events is not an option). Thanks in advance for your ideas/suggestions! -Katy
