Has anyone got experience with getting their work profile business registered when the profile represents something that isn’t registered as a business (such as gov department)?I’ve tried submitting a range of documents but they have rejected them all and ultimately I can’t provide a business reg for an org that won’t have one!https://tiktok.com/@bankofengland

Hi, one of my Facebook ad accounts was disabled a while back with no warning. I am not able to request a review. I spoke with Meta “support,” they opened a case for me, but it was determined that nothing could be done to restore the ad account. They said I violated terms, which never happened. My account was hacked last year, but the hackers were removed and I was able to advertise on other ad accounts. Business Manager will not let me add or create another ad account? I spoke to someone who can help with Facebook account restoration, but he wants $3,000 to get the account restored. Should I create a new business manager account? Please advise, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Dan

Hi everyone! Does anyone have tips for being locked out of an Instagram account due to not receiving the access code to login?We do not have access to the Authenticator app linked to the account and have tried the following steps to regain access, but have failed:• Password reset link worked, but we’re still blocked by 2FA• Unable to turn off 2FA or add a secondary phone number for authentication• Backup codes download as a blank file• We also tried registering a trusted device — nothing has worked• We have not had native access for over a year and had been posting via Sprout, but are now locked out of that platform as well and have been prompted to log in natively to reconnect the account• We had reached out to Meta support previously ( and were advised someone would get back to us, but did not receive a resolution• The account is connected to our main English account (this is the French account), but we are still unable to access itAny insights would be appreciated!  I can’t get a single business page to load this morning on LinkedIn. Is anyone else having this issue? 

Hi! I need some advice on how to deactivate a long-standing page. I’m a one-man band at the University I work for and our Admission Instagram page has fallen into my lap. For the past year, I’ve been managing it along with our main page and have seen a ton of overlap in the audience. Overlap in the audience kind of defeats the point of having two separate pages. In order to be more intentional with our content, we’ve decided to delete the admission page.  My question for everyone: what is the best way to delete the page? I don’t want to lose anybody who is only following that page, I want them to come follow the main page. Should we make an announcement stating the future removal of the page? How long should that post stay up?I haven’t had to do this before so I’m looking for some advice. Thank you!  

Has anyone had much success with the “Prompt” option when posting an Instagram Reel?If anything it seems to have the exact opposite effect with content I’ve shared with comments just becoming none existent. Was wondering if anyone had examples of it being used really well?

Hi, I’d love to get insights from others on Facebook Videos vs Facebook Reels. For a long time, our audience was more interested in traditional videos and almost shunned reels entirely, but I tried one recently and have since noticed a change. We’re seeing some additional reach outside of our followers with the reels format as well. Let me know what you’ve observed with your own audiences!

As we approach Pride Month and our posts on June 1, I’ve been asked, as the Moderator of our social channels, if I’m prepared to have comments left on. Last year we posted with comments turned off. However, in 2023, I moderated for several hours hiding comments and blocking trolls before we shut comments off. In short, it was very ugly. I’m curious how you and/or your organization makes this decision? Obviously there are a ton of factors to consider and I’m curious what those factors are for you as well.  🌈 Thank you! 

Hi! It looks like the automated DM’s on X require coding/engineering support. Has anyone figured out how to edit the message that pops up when a user tries to DM the brand?

We have a fairly robust YouTube account filled with lots of videos from the last 15 years. I’ve been hoping to get our audience to engage a little more by doing posts. Some get a lot of attention and others are ignored, but there’s no clear pattern to them yet. Polls tend to get about 10-15 engagements, carousels get around 15-20 engagements, and photos don’t get much (under 10). It’s not much, but we’ve only just begun so I’m guessing it’ll take a while for the audience to get used to it. Anyone having luck with YouTube posts? What’s working?

I thought this feature would have been long gone on LinkedIn, but I guess it’s here to stay. Has anyone seem their numbers go down on LinkedIn since LinkedIn has made a photo linked to a URL super small? What other LinkedIn features are you using instead to keep engagements up? I’m considering some content to LinkedIn Newsletters. 

My team has been tasked with evaluating options for to add a potential new organic social channel. We are an international professional organization that mostly posts B2C and R&D content, and dabble in B2B content.We are currently active on LinkedIn (our top performing platform), Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok and Twitter. We are also currently analyzing if we will stay on Twitter once our new FY starts in July. What other platforms is everyone else on and getting good engagement?We’re evaluating various platforms and are currently leaning towards adding Bluesky once it is available on Sprout. (I claimed our handle a year ago and we have a few hundred followers)Thanks!

So long story short, we aren’t able to get our receipts from Instagram ads, which are required by my org, so we are no longer doing ads there. Since we stopped, we’ve seen a dramatic decline in engagement on all posts. We weren’t spending a lot, usually $50-100/month on a couple notable videos or carousels, so this major drop in engagement (about a 50% decline) seems unwarranted simple because of that. Would love to know if anyone else has seen this, or is seeing an IG decline in general.

Hi, we have a main Facebook company page with 12 store location pages underneath for the brands. But we need to set up another page and I’m not sure whether to do is as it’s own company page or a store location page? Does anyone have any thoughts for which one is the best approach?

X/Twitter as a platform has been declining for our B2B brands for a while, but we’ve mainly stayed on due to inertia and making sure people could find us. But with Musk’s inappropriate behaviour at the US inauguration and since, I personally am feeling moral reprehension at the platform writ large. (put another way, I wanted to immediately delete EVERYTHING but of course I couldn’t be so reactive)I’ve put together a business case for my boss’s that lays out statistics etc, but I’ve hit a minor snag in that our competitors are not showing any signs of leaving, and their posting frequency has not changed. So I wanted to reach out to the Sprout community to hear if you are also having conversations like this and/or if your B2B brand has already made a decision one way or the other. Thanks in advance!

It appears that OpenAI is building its own social network, according to Reuters and The Verge. If so, do you think it would be a net good or ill for social media? Would working with an AI-first social media platform be a good fit for you or your clients?As for me, while some news coverage is skeptical or concerned, I think I’d wait and see how this develops, but it’s on my radar now.

Hello! We’re a local non-profit that is part of a larger national organization. While we share the same mission and values with other locations across the country, each one—like us—operates independently and focuses on the unique needs of our own communities.We manage our own programs and run three social media pages. Two for our different locations, and one for our Bargain Shop. The Bargain Shop page has different content then our other two pages. We just had our Bargain shop page suspended due to “impersonating” a brand. We appealed it then it was denied and our page has been deleted. We just requested another appeal and are waiting for decision from Meta. Has anyone had a similar issue?

Does anybody have an idea when Sprout Social will add Threads to the Social Listening section?

Has anyone else heard of “WeAre8” or actually using it? It’s a social platform that’s been around for a couple of years and bills its self as “The People’s Platform” with minimal data tracking, strong moderation and paying people for the ads they consume.

Is anyone else’s Facebook videos not publishing? I’ve tried in Sprout, the Meta Business Suite and Facebook natively and the video I’m trying to publish is not showing as live. I tried scheduled in advance and publishing immediately, and I get a message saying it’s shared. Then the video doesn’t show on the page or the drafts/scheduled, it disappears entirely.Anyone else having this problem right now?

Hi there! I created a campaign for march based around the instagram poll feature - but every time I go to post using the poll all set up, it gives me an error. “something went wrong. please try again later.” I have tried everything - powering on/off, making sure app is updated, etc… anyone else experiencing this?
