Hello!Has anyone else experienced a sudden drop in engagements and impressions on LinkedIn as of late? I manage a company page and over the past two weeks our impressions have plummeted -- despite not doing anything differently in terms of frequency of our content.I know that the algorithm is changing more frequently now, but if that’s what caused this, we’ve really taken a hit. Along those lines, I continue to see that LinkedIn suppresses the visibility of content that includes links that would take a user away from LinkedIn. Is there any truth to this? I’ve been ignoring it as a possibility, but nearly all our content points back to our website, so I’m beginning to wonder. Thanks in advance!
Hey everyone! This is my first post through the Arb so hopefully I do this right :)My company is in the process of deleting our current Facebook account and starting a new one (long story.) Ideally, we would have each person with admin permissions set up an individual page for themselves using their “@upgrade” email address, and then that page would be the one with admin permissions (as opposed to giving admin permissions to each person’s everyday page that they already use frequently.) We mainly want to do this for cybersecurity reasons.Has anyone tried this method before? Did it work? Did you run into any problems with Facebook, getting flagged, or anything of that nature? We’ve gone the rounds with Facebook a few times over a few different issues and their support team has been less than helpful, so we want to avoid doing anything that could get our page compromised or restricted in any way since we’re not confident in Facebook’s ability to fix problems.
I am dealing with a lot of very tight restrictions, as I currently work with a lot of client in the pharmaceutical (ophthalmology, mostly) space. I just have a number of things I encounter constantly so I thought I would throw a few out there. Has anyone had success with geotargeting as specific as, for example: all countries in europe but not the UK? It would be a pretty severe consequence if it did show up in the UK; again just as a recent example. Am I correct that I can turn off comments on an ad on Instagram, but not Facebook? Has anyone ever encountered the ability to limit sharing, as well? How do people navigate the rejections they encounter on Facebook from ads that are more explicitly pharma? One client has mentioned getting a rep? But I’m sus. I’m sure I have many more, but these are just immediate stressors. thanks in advance!
Super curious if anyone know the legalities of using Text-to-speech in paid ads on TikTok. I know in the past I wasn’t able to see Text-to-speech as an option on my brands accounts, but now it’s showing up. Just curious if anyone has ran into this or has a POV. I’m kind of in the “try it and find out” camp, but my production team is more risk adverse, haha.
We’ve never had a problem boosting posts with external links, but recently, Facebook start automatically adding a Facebook click ID (fbclid) to the URL. I went through the steps to remove this from our Google Analytics, but it still hasn’t removed it from Facebook. Posts with the fbclid aren’t eligible to be boosted. How do I get Facebook to stop added these? What’s the workaround?
I’m looking for training for Facebook group admins. Our company has Facebook group for the people who utilize our service. The group is managed by the team that provides the service (not our social media team). Most of the admins don’t have a background in MarCom and they are looking for training and best practices for managing a Facebook group. Does anyone know of any good resources?
Are LinkedIn Groups still a thing? I know they exist, but does anyone use them as an active community? Are you a part of a LinkedIn group where users are having conversations? We have a few ‘official’ groups from my org and they used to be community-driven, healthy locations for conversations about specific topics. Now, all we see are promotional posts and little to no engagement by the community. We have a lot of members, and would like to get it back to what it was, but not sure LinkedIn Groups are still where that should be happening?
Hi Everyone! We use a hiring management system called Clear Company and I guess it requires a LinkedIn profile to set up. We have a LinkedIn profile for our National Office and that is connected to the job site for our jobs. However, HR wants to create a new Clear Company account to list jobs for all of the churches that are part of our denomination for them to list their open positions. This will require us to create a separate LinkedIn profile for church job postings. Is this bad practice or a bad idea? I know it’s illegal to have two LinkedIn profiles for an individual, but don’t know about a company.Thank you!
Wondering if there’s any case to be made justifying the $1K/month (+affiliate account add-ons) price point for Elon’s new brand subscription service? Weighing the financial and potential reputation costs vs any early-mover advantage from signing up Day 1, I’m just not seeing it right now for us. At best, a wait-and-see situation to watch how this plays out in the early goings. Does anyone feel differently? Have you already signed up or planning to within the next week as “legacy” Blue Checks are reportedly (but empirically it’s anyone guess) set for removal as early as next week?
Hi everyone! Does anyone have tips for being locked out of an Instagram account due to not receiving the access code to login? They have their password and are able to request a code, but then it never comes through. They’ve tried deleting + re-downloading their app, attempted logging in on a desktop computer, and have tried to get in touch with Meta but don’t have a POC there. She confirmed it’s her phone number, and is getting the code when she tested her personal IG account, so it’s not an issue with her phone.Any insight or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Hey yall!I’m wondering who here is using Twitter Blue for their company accounts -- My company wants to test it out. I have an iPhone, so I’m trying to find a way around their model of automatic subscription going to my personal Apple ID -- has anyone been able to use a company card for this recurring subscription?TIA!- Kayla
Twitter controversy has been top of conversations, but what in the world has happened to Snapchat's relevancy?
Hi Agencies! I was having an awesome conversation with my friends at cannonball and we were chatting about the total change in conversations and requests from clients around Snapchat. Remember when we would get requests for geo-filters and AR filters left and right?Snapchat has always been challenging to tackle from a community management standpoint, but many of you have overcome those similar barriers in your TikTok strategy.Curious to hear your thoughts on your current approach to Snapchat and your predictions for its future?
Hi friends!! We’re running a giveaway on our Insta where followers just need to tag a friend in the comments. Anyone have suggestions for how to aggregate all the comments into a list so we can pick a winner? I’ve seen a few websites online, but thought I’d ask this community as well. Thanks!
With all of the renewed interested in Tumblr, marketers might be considering the platform for their social strategy. We are currently investigating if we should allow separate channels to our main group account. We are worried about brand confusion and dividing our followers but also having less people look at the main channel. There is not much info out there… some brands do it others don’t so I thought this community might have some interesting insights or opinions :)
Hello everyone! I was on Facebook.com reviewing content when I realized my pages are missing the Stores tab! I manage three brands with over 260 locations -- all brand and location pages are missing the Stores tab. I immediately went into my settings to see if I had accidentally turned it off, but the Stores did not appear as an option in the template we are using. I reviewed different templates (Business, Shopping) to see if it was a template issue, but no template Facebook offered had the Stores tab.My coworker discovered other major brands like McDonalds are also missing the Stores tab. I tried looking through Meta’s platform, social media outlets like Social Media Today, and general news outlets to see if there was some type of explanation, but found nothing! Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Does anyone have any clue as to why this is happening, when this will be fixed, and where we can keep track of this issue on Meta’s platform? Thanks!
A question and a comment -- has anyone else seen this format on Twitter desktop for news articles? So far, I’ve only noticed it with a few New York Times articles. It really emphasizes the image, and I think it looks cool! If anyone knows more about this, or has seen any news about a larger rollout, please let me know. :)
Yesterday our team shared this new blog article on 14 TikTok tools to amplify your social video strategy. I found it very insightful and wanted to share. There were a few resources I didn’t know about, but my biggest takeaway is the Ads Library which consists of the top ads on TikTok over the last 7 or 30 days.Let me know what you learned below.

I manage 5 LinkedIn pages and all follower charts every month look like this and I have no idea why. I checked on LinkedIn and all the growth is organic, not sponsored. So why is it fluctuating so much? Has anyone else come across this? At first, I thought it was because of a particular post, but some of the days we get the biggest spike we don’t have any posts going out.
Happy Tuesday all! I was wondering everyone’s thoughts on the recent news about Instagram rolling out tests for replacing all videos with Reels? Will this impact the video content you want/have scheduled to push out on the platform? Will adjusting your video content from horizontal to vertical present challenges, especially if your content is produced by a media/video department? If the change becomes a permanent fixture of Instagram, how will Sprout adapt to the changes? Will publishing all videos to “Reels” solely become an on-platform operation? It wasn’t stated in any of the articles, but how will videos already on the platform be converted into Reels, or will they simply grandfather in that content?Anyway, I’m appreciative of any and all insights this community has to offer on this topic. It would be an interesting change for sure.
